I remember my first character, my dad created her because he was scared I would create a slutty character, I was only like 14, but we called her Stonehands and her powers were claws, can't remember her secondary power. She had nothing to do with stones. Ah daddies being protective of their girls first time on an online game. Adorable. I'm 21 now, and my dad has not changed one bit. Lol  8)

LOL That's pretty funny because I was just thinking recently about how my daughter was 13 when I started playing CoH and she just turned 21. My how time flies.

Hmm still no word huh?

Looking back, considering how times are now, with online er, bad people, I am so grateful and appreciate so much, how my dad wanted to protect me. Lol
He used to tell me, I wasn't allowed to talk to anyone, wasn't allowed to get in a group, but bless him, he then realised, you kinda have to sometimes be in a group and stuff to progress. Lol

I Love My Daddykins :)
I also really love this game. I miss my City O' Heroes!!

I know that it seems slow but there are a LOT of moving parts to the deal.

NCSoft must approve the new company that will run the game and distribute the IP license. Then they negotiate for what the deal includes. It won't be fast but we can hope with some of the other titles struggling that they may want a small cash infusion to help buffer some of the stock sliding. It would be nice to see them sell it this quarter.

I can understand this point, I think a lot of people are getting antsy about waiting (myself included) for some kind of news and I understand this deal travel at the speed of business :). I am happy to wait to know we are getting our home back :)

So your guess is that they will be saving the announcement as a Xmas present to us... I could deal with that. :)
Cogito, Ergo... eh?

Yeah, we miss City of Heroes, and we like to say it. Lol
Makes us feel a bit better, well for me it does. We really appreciate all the work people are doing to get the game back. :)
We don't mean to sound a bit like "RAAAAAWWRRR! We want game back! We want it now!"

Having spoken to Nate a few times - I can absolutely guarantee - he will not wait to bring the game back for anything. I know as soon as he can say - we got it! He will be jumping around like a madman and posting on here as fast as possible.

We love the game - he is willing to put himself and his money at stake. He is willing to try and build another game like CoH because he thought the game was gone. He was willing to work with NCSoft and try and find a way for us all to get home. He is also dealing with NCSoft at their speed and dealing with us saying are we there yet. He is also working on CoT and trying to get the framework of the costume designer so that is can be plugged into both games.

I am positive any delays are not on his part.

Huh? This is the first I've heard of that.

And that would be awesome.
It takes a village to raise a child. And it takes a villain to explain the value of lunch money.

Pretty sure that's referring to APR.

Yeah, that's part of the Atlas Park = CoH2 "plan" -- use the City of Titan's game function to provide the City of Heroes combat, costume creator, etc. -- re-creating (as close as possible) the IP assets of CoH in the new environment.

So they need the costume creator to handle CoT and also the imported CoH assets

City of Heroes Revival ...maybe you had a vision? ;D

There was a power bar on the bottom, a big window on the right with costume pieces, and a picture of the character on the left.
