Must have been created by the same player who created the smuggler "Captain Underpants" on the Harbinger server in SWTOR.   :)

I had "John Q. Public" and "Jane Q. Public", similar concepts. (War Mace/Willpower with the "mace" customized to things like pipe wrenches and baseball bats and Street Justice/Willpower, respectively.)

The great bit was doing the Dark Astoria content with them. "Only a hero of your vast power can stop Mot!" "Lady, I have a baseball bat. That's it."

The missus did that with a 12 year old girl wielding a baseball bat.

One of my characters was a skinny guy in normal clothes and glasses, with a baseball bat, based loosely on Michael Douglas' character from Falling Down.  He didn't even have a code name, just a normal name (David Michaelson).  He was a War Mace/Willpower Brute, made in the pre-GR days so he was a Villain (though he might swing closer to Vigilante in the post-GR game).

I even still have his bio saved:
QuoteAn ordinary businessman, working six days a week, ten hours a day, and barely making ends meet.  With no time for friends, family, or fun, he lived alone in a small apartment.

One day, while on his fifteen-minute lunch break from work at the local fast food place, he was stuck behind a man who couldn't decide whether he wanted the hamburger or the chicken. As the minutes ticked by, something finally just snapped inside of David.

He grabbed a baseball bat from a Little League team (conveniently eating at the same restaurant), and beat the guy in the head until the police arrived and threw David into Ziggursky Penitentiary. And now, with Arachnos' help, he's broken out.

He doesn't have a code name, he doesn't have a costume, he doesn't have fancy gadgets, he's not really totally on board with this "villain" thing, he just wants to hit people until they STOP BEING STUPID.

He expects this will take a while.

I had Clevis, also mace/WP.  Como pants, tank top, stained hands, ball cap, mullet, and a pipe wrench name Reason.  Battle cry was "Some people need to see Reason!"

Natural origin, I think the only "super power" he had was superjump because while concept characters are fun, I'm not sprinting everywhere.

I had an Invul. Tank who wore only a standard business suit and tie.  Name of "Ordinary Joe".

His bio stated that he was just a regular civilian in Paragon who one day realized that "ordinary" citizens
were completely impervious to harm.  Oh sure, every once in awhile someone might turn up in a body bag,
but regular citizens could walk through massive explosions, hails of bullets, toxic radiation clouds, etc all day
long and be totally fine....it was only the registered supers who had problems.

the power of belief?  Wasn't there a train that kept saying 'I think I can... I think I can"

This is one of the things that I thought was hilarious.

When security levels were in place, you still had civis who were supposedly not-super, yet they lived in places where my super-powered-hero could not enter. lol
It takes a village to raise a child. And it takes a villain to explain the value of lunch money.

ran across a character once whose bio stated that he was a retired agent named MacGyver who merged with a biobooster GUYVER unit to become the new action hero MACGUYVER!

i had A Grazing Mace, the Invuln/War Mace Tanker with a gold and white costume based mostly on the Valkyrie set. He was out to enforce moral behavior with disproportionate violence. Spent most of his time roaming low level zones beating up Hellions, CoT, and Skulls.
"A grazing mace,
how sweet the sound,
that brained a wretch like thee..."

I had a villain named Land of the Lost- a mace/shield brute named Greg Land (I think it was Greg, but I may be confusing him with the ugh "artist"), a former veteran who had fallen in with the Lost after returning Stateside. His first costume was as "Losty" as I could make it, with a trashcan shield and wrench, and his later costumes became increasingly "Riktified". I wish there had been some more alien/rikti costume options, alas.

DUDE. I have been having Rikti EAT dreams for YEARS. I also kind of wanted to see a Seer, and Praetorian Police EATS.
I thought they would be awesome.

This would be awesome! Perhaps, should things work out an update will include this possibility!  8)

Must have been fairly common to make a mace/wp combo. Mine was max height shovel waving brute named Union Man.

He lost his union card about level 20something and I never finished him.

IIRC, the devs mentioned in one of the Lores that they had either been working on or envisioning a Rikti EAT. I think it would have been perfect to go along with the Coming Storm storyline, and perhaps a revised Crey's Folly (Riktitown!!)

Generic Rikti to start, splitting into Mentalists or Soldiers as they level (or staying "generic").

I would love to see a seer and Praetorian police eats :D, Rikti as much as I loved fighting them being one does seem to be a bit limiting however, I could see a carnie eats :D

And now that I think about it, since you can change costumes anytime, if the collision size was tied to that, then players could change their hitbox at will. That could lead to some... interesting situations.
