Kistulot

I always thought some aspect of it was Hover, which was a fairly neat little buff.

Some just hate teleport I guess, or perhaps it's that they had no choice on the matter.

Similar to how some granite armor tanks and brutes had teleport so they could zap around as needed when in granite/rooted.

I and the people I ran around with referred to it as "the TP tax".

Invariably, when using TP frequently to enter, leave, or move around an area of combat, one will occasionally mess up and not move, or click into the wrong place, and die.

I eventually moved all of my characters off of TP.

I believe they simply wish to be given the ability to fly at nova-speeds without having to turn into the squid, for RP reasons or aesthetics.

Plus access to all the Human-form powers without using a jet-pack, and Hover and Air Sup.  As a squid you get 4 blast powers.  Remember that we also had multiple build options for our toons.  On my warshade I had a totally tricked out squid/lobster shifting build and a totally human build.  Kheldians didn't get extra enhancement slots for their alternate forms, they end up bleeding away the human options or vice versa.

Here is what ish 24 was intended to be,
paragonwiki.com/wiki/Issue_24

doesn't anything about flight for warshades but if true I would have gladly respec'd out of superspeed on all 3 of my warshades.

Me likey.  Love the perks to the non-travel secondary pools.

I heard a rumor about the extra pools to WS and PBs so I mirrored my WS over to Test and respec'd the Flight pool in.  It was glorious.

I don't have any news yet. I really think the next thing we will hear will be a yes or no answer. If the project was acceptable and the conditions of sale worked out - then there wasn't much left - well except for the Lawyers.
Thanks, Ironwolf, for all your work. Whether or not they get a yes, I think we are already victorious by knowing that they are willing to negotiate after all. I do hope we will be playing soon.

I always took tp on my stone tank. I could tp into a room while in granite and have the undivided attention of everything, then I could get out with out collisions blocking the way.

i expect to hear nothing by end of August.. I have gained a personal greater appreciation lately for how slooooow business deals can move..

Even if both sides really want the deal - it can take a long time. They are having to prove to NCSoft that they can develop the game. It will be done when its done.

Okay, I REALLY gotta ask. You get inherent Teleport, which (for me anyway) was the only travel power I needed all the way to level 50. At level 6 you can nova in order to fly (and also hedge against tele-plummet if that's your problem). So who the heck needs the flight pool? What am I missing here? It can't be Air Superiority or Afterburner... no way.

If you played with a gamepad the left click to use a targeting reticle could not be bound to anything or macroed into anything so you'd have to keep a mouse handy just for those.

The fact that NCSoft cares whether new owners can develop the game is interesting.

I guess it's just me, then. My 2nd 50 was a warshade, and I had teleport on a couple of other characters before that. With the SHIFT-CLICK bind I never had any problems. And I never tried a human-only warshade. I guess in that case you would want hover to prevent tele-plummet, or if you just never comfortable with teleport. But playing a warshade should be viewed as an opportunity to get comfortable with teleport. To each his or her own, I guess.

It's certainly good to have the options available for those who want them.

Some times, it'S technical issues preventing you from enjoying teleport:
Playing with a subpar system, and from europe, made teleplummet a constant issue. Both graphic lag and latency would make me drop. I was really looking forward to the sorcery pool. With built in hoverport, it would have made my day.

Mind you, I'm on my second new system since black friday, so teleplummet prolly wouldn't have been an issue anymore.

I would purchase hover whenever I picked TP, so teleplummeting was not an issue.

It made TP much more feasible.

I suspect they opened up the travel options for Khelds due to the new pool sets like sorcery that had a fly in it... I have a fly in my pool?
