I always wished the tech was there for Propel to grab a nearby world asset to fling at mobs instead of pulling a random model out of thin air.

It would be nice in concept but the nearby assets run out to fast during even medium battles. I was once overjoyed to find a power that worked exactly like this in another game and a minute later I had run out of chairs / tables / etc and the power ceased to function.

For some reason "gravity" automatically made me think science or tech.

Ignore the power labels. If a royal cow named The Dairy Queen uses water blast set to the color white, it isn't really water blast anymore.

Nutritionally, liver ingots are superior and if you're stuck in the wilderness and unable to make a fire and thus cook, the liver is not only going to be the most nutritious meat ingot, but also apparently one of the more pleasant tasting.

I actually really like liver and have understood peoples issues with it. That being said I have almost no sense of taste or smell (the latter of which has been handy but got me in serious trouble a few times) so its mostly a texture thing. :)

I'm sorry I don't pore over this thread just in case some important bit of info from the mods comes along. I kind of thought if it was that important, there'd be some really big notice somewhere that I wouldn't be able to miss!

If it were possible to give someone mod rights over a single thread, Ironwolf would be mod of this one. Just sayin'. Treating him as anything else is kind of stupid. He's the person doing this. He has more authority over this than any mod or admin of this forum.

I think you are confusing running an active game with making a business deal. If we get the game back we want ALL of the wonderful conventions, costumes and fans. Making a business deal is calm and deliberate. They are not asking you to shut up and go away - which is what you appear to be hearing. They are saying for the duration of these talks can the community remain calm?

Everyone should keep this in mind: If someone is holding all the cards and has all the power, you shut up and color like they tell you to until you have the goods yourself.

Until we have the game and it's under new management, we can't be standing here thumping our chests like we "deserve" something. We say "yes sir, no sir" and "yes ma'am, no ma'am" until we get what we want.

If I were running this board, I'd put a big ol' banner up top asking everyone to please refrain from saying things against NCSoft or whatever during this time. You know, just to make sure everyone knew. I wouldn't just assume that everyone knew that already or leave it to regular posters, if it was that important. But what do I know, right?

That's only a problem if the item is destroyed when being thrown - if you're fighting in, say, a lab, then hurling bits of equipment shouldn't destroy them so that they become one use only items.

That's only a problem if the item is destroyed when being thrown - if you're fighting in, say, a lab, then hurling bits of equipment shouldn't destroy them so that they become one use only items.

Yeah, I think the items either not disappearing or having multiple uses would work for the mechanic. They slam into the mob, get banged up and flop to the ground with their little physics.

Well like I said, I haven't read every post he makes, because they get quickly swallowed up by all the other posts made here. His concerns about that came off as personal ones and not explicitly relayed by the ones trying to buy the game. I'm sorry if that upset him.

You can look up his posts directly by going to his public account on the boards.  There's no real excuse for not knowing everything he's posted aside from laziness.

Yeah, see... I'm not saying that the company offering to buy CoH from NCSoft should not be trying all they can to be polite and courteous. Of course they should! That only makes sense. And I'm rather certain that's exactly what they're doing. While the behavior of the players--who right now are mere bystanders--should be noted, it should not color or detract from these dealings. If it does, then I'm saying that NCSoft weren't serious about it in the first place.

And by repeatedly saying this your not only in goring what others are saying but showing your ignorance of not only corporate dealings but also cultural differences.  And the fact that you are ignoring people who try to point out the differences means you are intentially being obtuse.
