Ah I'm really missing CoH. I'm playing DC Universe, and cannot for the life me come to grips with it. I don't like the controls, it's difficult to talk, so I don't.
Does anyone else here play DCUO? Does anyone else seem to have the same kind of trouble with it like I do?
Honestly thought it would be a good pass time, until CoH comes back, but my lack of knowledge towards the game makes me miss the simplicity and comfort of my home town Atlas, even more.
I want my Atlas!! 😢

I sometimes play DCUO, it's a fun action game sometimes, I have made a new character to mess with the munitions set.  I tend to think it's a good second game, but not much so as a first.  They are adding some quality of life improvements to it, as well as adjusting the difficulty of a number of missions.  They are also nerfing the Pengbot Maximus, one of the, for the level you encounter him, single most OP bosses ever for the solo game.
Currently; Not doing any streaming, found myself with less time available recently.  Still playing starbound periodically, though I am thinking of trying other games.  Don't tell me to play mmohtg's though please :).  Getting back into participating in VO and the successors again to.

No news, eh?  Sigh.

I got an idea Nate;  hows about you send us an update in code?  Cryptoquote style or Binary?  Even if it takes weeks for us to decipher it'll keep us busy.  Idle minds are the Devil's workshop and all that...

Here's a thought: has Nate and co. thought about attaching a CPU sharing scheme to CoX? The idea is that since CoX is so old, it can run fairly decently on any modern computer, what we do is lease say... 2% of the CPU time of any user playing to a scientific organization who needs it (think Folding@Home or Seti@Home)

I thought about this a while back for my server, too many security issues, all that needs to happen is ONE person mods their client, tells it to always give 100% of itself to server time and hack intercept and change the calculations. It's why my old post of peer to peer servers wouldn't work.
There is always another way. But it might not work exactly like you may desire.

I'm so confused, who do I side with?
I Think I'll just
Drink more Ensure

or maybe I'll drink some super cocoa

heat whole milk over medium heat, add Swissmiss cocoa mix, Hersheys chocolate syrup and ovaltine in their normal amounts for that volume of liquid. mix until dissolved, add marshmallows.

can you stand the creamy, chocolatey, malty beverage?

Why don't they call it Roundtine?  The jar is round.  The mug is round.

Interesting.

Ovaltine is the English-ized name for the derivative of the actual product, still produced, known as Ovomaltine in its native land, Switzerland.  A misspelling on the English import version trademark is why it's now known as Ovaltine in these markets.

In case anyone wanted to know.

I come back from time to time to see if there has been any progress made on bringing the game back. Apparently the answer is still the same. Hope...where do I find thee with regard to this long hiatus from CoH

I think you disqualified yourself at "Hersheys chocolate syrup."

true, cocoa is technically a type a grain or seed, therefore it will absorb the alcoholic content to some extent.

Yes, you keep coming here doing that, and the poor sap who is reconfiguring whatever parts of the binary information of the server are necessary to be reconfigured, after a long day of grueling torture comes here wishing he could post how he/she feels or for that matter wishes they could give an update.

I'm sure there have been a number of typed updates, and mouse pointers hovering over the submit button before another hand grabs the mouse hand and pulls it to safety.

if you see nothing, just think how bad it is to know everything but not be able to say anything, While all your friends and customer base keep bashing the time taken and that there are no updates.

For those people in that situation, I say, Thank you for your hard work! even though we haven't a clue what it is or whether it's hit snags or whatever, I'm sure it'll be great and EVERY effort is appreciated no matter how much time it takes or progress it makes! even if it leaves you back where you started, as a developer I understand those headaches, keep at it, you got this!

Thanks to Nate and team!, thanks to the president and other members of NCSoft hard at work!, and thanks to the coders and all support staff for all their mind-numbing hours! you guys and gals rock!

And don't worry about your paychecks, I'm ready to buy VIP game points Enhancements, Costume sets, Super packs and of course content packs! and I'm not the only one!
