I got a text from one of my very good friends that I made in the game.  She met a guy in-game that she is getting married to.  The text she sent me today was a picture of her cake topper which are replicas of her's and his CoH characters.  So Cool!!!!!!!!!!!

I will post it as soon as I transfer from my phone to my PC & check to make sure she doesn't mind my sharing.  Although I"m sure she won"t mind.

Haven't heard back from her yet.  She may want to wait until after the wedding for a post.  I am sure she would like to surprise some of her guests that were also CoH players.  I hope I haven"t spoiled anything by posting about it, but I just thought it was so cool.

So many of us were so invested in this game.  It was home to us and we made so many friends.  It is so good to see that it is still very much with us in our hearts.

While we technically met in another game, my husband and I spent the bulk of our bonding time in City before I moved out here. We got married on Sept 19 last year, only a couple weeks after the shutdown announcement.

There definitely is something amazing about the connections made in our city. Half the people I know are former City players, and I would drop everything to help any single one of them in a heartbeat.

You need to upload the image to a photo sharing service like Flickr, Picasa, Image Shack, Imgur, Photobucket, Shutterfly, etc.  Once it is uploaded you will be able to get a URL for the picture.  Click in the "Insert Image" button and paste the url in between the two bracketed "img" "/img" things that pop up.

Too bad the game isn't still active.

I am 100% sure they would have also had an in-game wedding of their heroes. I have seen quite a few of those over the years.

Pi's global was Aboomanation (I may have spelled it incorrectly, but it's close, lol)  Iggy's was something like Igundadon.  They were members of the Sex Machine Villain group that's name was later changed (due to being reported by sore losers in a base raid) to SM.  They also were in a Super Group called Grove Street Gangstas.  We ran a lot of SFs.  Use to run LRSFs on a freguent basis.

I love these guys and wish them the best.  Wish we had been able to give them an in-game wedding, would have been awesome.
