I hate to break open this can of disillusionment, but a lot of the pictures on Faces aren't really of the people they say they are. Don't get me wrong, some are--mine is, as hopefully the people I've met in person will attest to, but my long-standing policy is that if it looks too good to be true, it almost certainly is.
But it's okay. I mean, not okay in the sense of violating copyright and whatnot; as we find fake profiles we remove them. But I mean I don't lie awake at night worrying about it. It's not like Faces is a dating web site. The site is just for fun, and if anyone judges someone else based on their Faces picture, they're being extremely naive.
