You can send money through paypal without making an account, so the only thing they'd get from you is whatever you present to them at the time of donation. They are required by law to keep your payment details for X period of time, but they are also required by law to keep your payment details out of third-party hands. Not sure what privacy you're worried about if you don't make an account there.

Are you on a public computer or something? PayPal itself will "helpfully" populate the login box with the most-recently-used e-mail address. If that's what you're seeing, then there's nothing we can do about that short of bust down the doors of PayPal HQ and make them change it.
No my own private ! nobody uses on pain of death computer. Thats why so strange to see somebody elses name, anyway try the link again this morning and it was clear so sent that coffee.. or 10 .

DoD seems to consider, iirc from mid 2011 policy, pay pal to be high risk website although I havent seen anything unnerving in their policies. I have no problem or see a problem with pay-pal just wondering why it's considered a high risk site.

The reason why it's considered a high-risk site is probably because of their policy on freezing accounts and restoring them: the former they do on a whim (and in fact their employees are apparently instructed to find excuses to do so), and as far as the latter goes they have NO appeal process and even refuse to inform their customers why the account was frozen in the first place.

Accounts can be frozen if your address or phone belonged to a "suspect" user, it you made any transactions with one of such users, if your name is similar to one of theirs and so on.
We were heroes. We were villains. At the end of the world we all fought as one. It's what we did that defines us.
The end occurred pretty much as we predicted: all servers redlining until midnight... and then no servers to go around.

Somewhere beyond time and space, if you look hard you might find a flash of silver trailing crimson: a lone lost Spartan on his way home.

Uh... You might want to make sure no one's sneaking into your place to make some secure transactions in the dark of night.

I'd send an email to the person who was on the page and ask them WTF. Heh.

Just going to state this one for the record in case it ever comes up in the future:

If you find yourself temporarily banned from any Titan sites or services and are subsequently caught circumventing your ban before its expiration, your temporary ban will very, very likely become a permanent ban.
