I must have missed the pseudo-riots this article talks about. I know I logged in and played every day until the end but perhaps the servers I was on didn't have these. I didn't see people posting links to porn sites on the official forums either, but if so, I infer they were taken down in a hurry. I know a
few people did purposefully break the rules near the end, but what I saw, I would describe as minor infractions. I also disagree about the community having "lashed out in anger and confusion." Yes those feeling were (are) felt, but I think the Save CoH movement on Titan has been as close to purely constructive as possible under the circumstances. Other than these quibbles, I think writer Ryan King has the essentials. I wish his article had mentioned Titan Network as well as our ongoing efforts to secure a new publisher
after all of our attempts to negotiate with NCSoft had failed, the Real World Charity Drive, et al.
Also, dang! The devs had stuff planned out to Issue 30? Issue 30?!! I knew about i25 and Kallisti's Wharf, and (like almost everyone) was eagerly awaiting Issue 24. They really did kill CoH in its prime. I feel PO'ed all over again!
What a frickin' waste!
