I must have missed the pseudo-riots this article talks about.  I know I logged in and played every day until the end but perhaps the servers I was on didn't have these.  I didn't see people posting links to porn sites on the official forums either, but if so, I infer they were taken down in a hurry.  I know a few people did purposefully break the rules near the end, but what I saw, I would describe as minor infractions.  I also disagree about the community having "lashed out in anger and confusion."  Yes those feeling were (are) felt, but I think the Save CoH movement on Titan has been as close to purely constructive as possible under the circumstances.  Other than these quibbles, I think writer Ryan King has the essentials.  I wish his article had mentioned Titan Network as well as our ongoing efforts to secure a new publisher after all of our attempts to negotiate with NCSoft had failed, the Real World Charity Drive, et al.

Also, dang!  The devs had stuff planned out to Issue 30?  Issue 30?!!  I knew about i25 and Kallisti's Wharf, and (like almost everyone) was eagerly awaiting Issue 24.  They really did kill CoH in its prime.  I feel PO'ed all over again!   >:(  What a frickin' waste!

I tried to search for the video of this but it looks like it was only uploaded by one person who subsequently removed it. Does anyone else happen to have it?

Without looking thru old forums, sorry, I don't recall the specifics of why the youtube of Kallisti's Wharf was taken down but I'm 99% sure Leandro said it would be back.  Apologies, I'm not finding this easily, or I'd post a link.  For some reason, I want to say January but my memory is hazy.

Same here. Granted, because my internet was out, I was unable to get on the game itself until 2.5 weeks or so after the announcement. So, I'm guessing these "riots"must have been a rather short-lived phenomenon.

The video was from Dr. Leandro (Leandro Pardini). He posted it on a few FB pages, you may be able to find it there.

It's not a video, but I have this for you.

Walkin' with a dead man over my shoulder

Waiting for an invitation to arrive
Goin' to a party where no one's still alive

Oh awesome, thanks!

Thanks again for this, Sept:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdNaLitjgJs

There's so much great stuff in this.  I love scrapper Mr. Bunny's "I'm gonna keep on hopping!" line.   I even love that there was a Mr. Bunny in CoH.  Thank you again.   8)

Hey, I'm really glad that so many people are enjoying that video! I have no idea how it exploded and got so popular but I'm definitely not complaining. I'm glad that a lot of COH players and non-COH players alike got to see it.

And the guy who played Mr. Bunny actually just posted on the video! I'm glad he was able to find it as I only had out of game contact info for two of my teammates on that TF.
