I will go down with this ship.  I won't put my hands up in surrender.  There will be no white flag above my door.  I'm in love, and always will be.  Dido

No outright 502 messages, but the site is definitely timing out for me.

Seems like someone updated the code...

I got a pop-up ad in a new browser window when I voted. That never happened before today.

I've been getting that ad (for some MMO) for the last several days.

I had been getting the pop up on my phone for about a week. I have ads pretty well locked down on my computers, so I hadn't noticed them, otherwise.

Earlier, I was getting the timeout, but now it's 502. Y2K? ;)
I wouldn't use the word "replace," but there's no word for "take over for you and make everything better almost immediately," so we just say "replace."

Same here. Didn't even pay attention to what it was for, but I've been getting it at least a week or more now. Looks like they decided to monetize our traffic.

I tried again and it seems to work now. Anybody still having problems?

Gah, I want to vote but the pages won't load!  *flails spidery limbs at it*

I used CIT before they even joined the Titan network! But then I left for a long ol' time, and came back. Now I edit the wiki.

I'm working on sorting the Lore AMAs so that questions are easily found and linked: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Lore_AMA/Sorted Tell me what you think!

Okay!  It's now January 6th and the MMOSite contest is done.

25,784 total votes for CoH.

13,165 in Best Community got us 3rd.  Not bad at ALL for a game that was recently murdered by its publisher and could promise its players nothing.  Unlike Knight and MicroVolts.
12,619 in Most Classic MMO got us 1st place.  Congrats guys!

All in all, a great showing for CoH.  Thanks to everyone who voted early and often.

pewlagon

All those categories where Micro Volts won should definitely be contested. However, I am pleased CoH won Most Classic.

I've got a press release ready to go on this. I can't guarantee it'll get much attention, as its likely about competitors websites, but its worth a shot.

I'll be sending it when I'm back at my PC in an hour or so :-) (yay for smart phones!)

The community one is BS.     I went to the microvolts and knight online site and they were bribing their players to vote in return for ingame money.

dwturducken

Yeah, we knew. That's what makes our showing noteworthy: it's for a "dead" game (in stasis?), and there was no incentive other than, well, the community. You can look at it as third, or you can look at it as first in our "class." :)

I'm looking at it as, first place out of those who acted with class. 8)
