Someone in one of my Facebook CoH friends groups suggested that maybe NCSoft could be added to the Book of World Records for closing the most MMOs. He asked that I pass the idea along over here. So there's the ball... run with it.  ;D

Listen to the 'mustn'ts'. Listen to the 'don'ts'. Listen to the 'shouldn'ts', the 'impossibles', the 'won'ts'. Listen to the 'you'll never haves', then listen close to me... Anything can happen . Anything can be.

So it already has the honor? Awesome. Close the thread. Fastest closed thread EVAR.

The other thread says City of Heroes has various Guinness records, but doesn't say anything about NCsoft having any. So there's no need to close the thread yet. :)

Here's Guinness's page on how to apply for a record:
http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/how-to-apply/

Normal applications take 4 to 6 weeks to process and are free. However, they also have a Fast Track service that can get an application processed in 3 days. It costs $700 (£450).
http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/faq/ (under "How does the Fast Track service work?".)

Everything I read seems to be geared towards how an individual can apply for a record for themselves. I didn't see anything about applying for a record on behalf of someone else or on behalf of an organization/company. It's possible they may not allow that. It's also possible they may decline to do a negative record for a company without that company's permission.
