Under pressure (now with links!)
« on: November 15, 2012, 12:27:27 PM »
I'm sure by now you've seen the latest update from TonyV and heard of the super-secret project that a few of the Save campaign are working on, which we hope will see a call to action soon.

In the meantime, it'd be great if you can help us out with a bit of pre-call-to-action volume-raising.

We know from VV that:

"NCSoft is definitely feeling the heat over this, it took them completely by surprise and they are very much not happy about it."

"Continue the pressure."

If you're on Twitter - go nuts: Tweet some of the memes (http://www.cohtitan.com/forum/index.php/topic,5707.0.html) and share the articles that've featured us. Don't forget to use the hashtags saveCoH, hkstrat (NCSofts PR agency) and NCSoft.  Make sure you're seen and heard, and make sure that NC Soft's customers and clients are seeing the noise we're making. They won't respond, but they'll be pissed that their customers can see it, and they while they can block you on a Facebook wall and delete posts, they can't silence a hashtag.

Facebook, G+ users - share the memes, pass on the articles, the videos..anything you can do to raise the volume.

Facebook groups to join include:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/SaveCityofHeroes/
http://www.facebook.com/groups/CoHSurvivors/
http://www.facebook.com/groups/438489949523705/ (COH Alumni)
and
http://www.facebook.com/groups/BoycottNCSoft/

If you're not a Twitterer, or a Facebooker or G+er, it'd be really, really helpful if you could comment on articles and news about the closure of COH and the Save campaign. You can find a spreadsheet of all the media articles here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjrAo1HdYNiddGFha0dnTzF3OEE2Nm4wUlRwSWlMRmc#gid=2 the media' thread, and even more links here: http://www.cohtitan.com/forum/index.php/topic,4908.0.html

Make us popular with the gaming sites, interact, boost their traffic - show an interest in the subject, and the articles, so they are more inclined to feature us again.

Pressure the sites who ran the "NC Soft says no" article verbatim, without doing work of their own. Ask them to find out exactly how NC Soft 'exhausted all options', or why they didn't contact the Save campaign for comment. If you're not happy about pressuring NC Soft directly, don't feel bad about pressuring the gaming press to put pressure on NC Soft to explain their actions.

If the article you want to see written about CoH/saveCoH doesn't exist yet, open a blog, join a citizen journalist site like nowpublic - use the net to make as much noise as possible. Tell the world your story, COH's story, and our story. Share the links with the Save community and the gaming community - the more comments, likes and shares they get, the higher it'll rise in the search engines. Ammon's hints (http://www.cohtitan.com/forum/index.php/topic,5980.0.html) will be invaluable if you're writing your own blog, article or post.

NC Soft are hoping that if they ignore us, we'll go away - especially the closer we get to sunset. We need to show them that we're still here and we won't shut up - and in order to do that, we need to...er...show them that we're still here, and we won't shut up :)

NCSoft's Stocks are really going down like a stone and should sell CoH to Paragon Studios to Matt Miller.
