Reminder: The Matrix Halloween Party

Not sure if this is sticky-worthy or not. But:

My SG will be holding a Hallowe'en bash on Saturday, 27 October from 6pm (GMT - no clue what that is for you lot) onwards.

It'll be in the Matrix Room on Virtue (teleports will be available), and the theme is, rather obviously, The Matrix.

Would be great to see some of you there, if you're about.

Is that GMT, or GMT+1 (British Summer Time - which apparently ends on the 28th)?

I think you're looking at 3:00 PM EDT/2:00 PM CDT/1:00 PM MDT/12:00 PM PDT. 6:00 AM in Austrailia, if I've done the math right, I think.

Edit: Dur!  I was adding hours moving East to West instead of subtracting...

How late will this be going on? I work till 10pm eastern so i can't come till then but i can't stay long either becuase i have work in the morning the next day too...Weekends are shot for me....it stinks. I need a new job.

Yeah, we haven't gone onto daylight savings here.

I'm told it's 1pm EST by one of my SG members? I have no idea. 7 years in the game and I still can't work out timezones :-p

I'll probably be there until about 10pm my time, but I figure once people show up, they'll just keep going until they don't, so there's no hard and fast finish time. Hopefully if you show up, people'll be there. My SG is reaaaally small, so it'd be awesome if as many titan-y/saver-y types could come as possible, so I don't feel like Rae-no-friends

bearing in mind that an official Titan event has been planned for this date, I've decided to postpone this event. soon as its rescheduled, I'll let you know.

I think the plan was actually to have multiple Halloween events all on one night so that people can bounce around between events.  After all, costume contests are pretty short, relatively speaking.

we did talk about that as an SG, but the consensus was we'd head to the D for the events there and do a matrix party on a week where there wasn't anything going on.

its not a problem, and we'd really rather do it during a 'quiet' weekend, when people may be looking for a reason to log in. A week won't do any harm
