Just a thought - and one that may have been posted before - but has anyone tried a campaign to aggressivle recruit new players (I'm assuming the game is still available for download)? One thing I don't think anyone outside of NC Soft/Paragon knows is just how many people are playing, for free or with a subscription. If there is an incentive to either attract another company to buy or for NC Soft to change their mind, it would come from realizing the bottom-line income potential of this game. I would think communities like college campuses would be a great opportunity to spread the word about CoH/CoV to non-players. Thinking back to my college days, if someone suggested I download a free-to-play video game and I had the bandwidth to do it, I'd do it.
