Titan Admins stepping down...
« on: March 17, 2009, 07:59:02 PM »
From the news posts:

Quote
It's with a heavy heart that I announce to everyone that as of today, Maverick X, Voltaic Shock, and myself (SuckerPunch) are stepping down as Titan Admins, and handing the keys to the Network over to Steiner and TonyV. We've all three been increasingly losing our interest in the game, and by proxy it's harder to stay motivated to keep working on Titan.

However, we refuse to leave you all Titan-less, as we know how much many of you rely on the Titan sites to help enhance your CoH gameplay. Recent "hire" Steiner has very graciously (and bravely!) agreed to take over the majority of the Network's administrative responsibilities. TonyV from ParagonWiki has also agreed to dig his hands deeper into the rest of the network and be another resource in maintaining and improving the sites.

The last few years have been an amazing experience, both as a game player, and watching the sites grow in such a fun, organic way. It's been great interacting with all of you folks, both in-game and through working on the Titan sites. Have fun out there!

We'll still be floating around on the forums now and then, but if any of you want to keep in touch with us, feel free to shoot us an email :)

We will still be around. At least myself. I can't speak for VS or SP. You haven't heard the last from me. But thanks for the well wishes. =]

Well, they are deserving of at least one single tear shed for their departure...but anything more would just be embarassing lol. ;)

I'm sorry to hear you three are all leaving, but don't be strangers! It's quite impressive how quickly this site has grown and you should all be proud of your hard work.

I'm certain we can keep TonyV and Steiner on their toes.  ;)

Take care!

I'd also like to say thanks to the three of you for all the contributions you've made to the CoH community over the years.  I'm happy I got to know you guys a little bit before you headed off and look forward to seeing you lurking about in the future.  :)

Well I do appreciate the hard work and many hours put in for this project.  I am glad you consolidated what game resourses you could.  I was hoping you three would take over the CoX world, but I understand.  I hope to see you around and thanks again.

Thank you for the hard work you have been doing at Titan. You will be missed from both side of the pond.
Wishing you well in the new adventures that will befall you outside of CoH.

And someday hope the lure of spandex draws you back ;).

But once again, Thank you for the hard work you have done here.

Thanks for all the great work you've done. I've only been playing for a bit over a year and a half now, but I have found my gaming experience in CoH to be greatly enhanced by the Titan Network sites. I'm sad that you're losing interest, especially on the cusp on i14, but I have faith that Steiner and TonyV will pick up where you've left off. :) Good luck with whatever gaming you choose to venture onto and don't be strangers!

They didn't leave at the same time... they just announced their departure in a generalization that seemed like they all left at the same time.

It was gradual and spanned about 4 months as each of the three stepped down, however they were on the fence about leaving and decidedly called it "Semi-Retired" now they're all pretty much fully retired except possibly Mav-X who is like 3/4s retired, lol.

SP is still helping me set things up, so he's kinda like my consultant right now, lol.
