Villain Epic Archetype Icons?

Are these ever going to be added? My character tracker still has no AT icon for either of my VEATs.

My VEATs have the icons in the list.  Not sure why you wouldn't have them for yours.

The AT icons? Cause I have the Villain and Origin icons for them.

A bug existed for a while that prevented those icons from showing in the profile.

How long has it been since you ran Glycerine or HS, Gamer6432?

You are one of the few that are still victims of an unfortunate bug from a little back in the day... Try playing the game for an extended period of time with either TNT:Glyc or HS open... MIGHT flip it to display the right icons.

If not, bump a post in here and it will be handled directly by a moderator. Just wanting to verify that TNT and HS are doing what they're intended and like I said, not a lot of people still have this issue.

Edit: 30 seconds after you...dang your quick Cath, lol.

I'm just very aware of this bug since my "villain badger" is a VEAT. I put that in quotes because I haven't really even messed with his Ouro or Invention badges yet.

I run HeroStats every time I play. I'd even re-added all my characters and this still plagued me. I eventually just deleted the VEAT entries and put them in manually. So far it seems to have fixed the issue.

OK, seems this problem has found me again. I have added my VEATs manually, but when I log in with HeroStats running the icon disappears and the AT drop down in the Manage Character screen is grayed out with "Unknown" as the selection.

While logged into one of the affected characters, select "View" in the top menu and "Show Hero Information".   What do you see in the frame?  A screenshot would be nice.

Fair enough, it's detecting you.  Let's take a look at what exactly HeroStats is sending to CIT's scripts...

  • Go up to "Data" and select "Global Options".
  • In the box on the right side of the screen, make sure that "Debug" is selected and click "Ok"
  • Let's force HS to send the data.  Select a badge title in game, then select Data->Send Badge Data.  There won't be a confirmation/alert upon success.
  • Now, close HeroStats.  You won't be able to read the log with it open.
  • Navigate to the folder you have it installed to and open the file called "HSLogFile".  Select WordPad or NotePad to open it with.
  • Look for the last line that says "DEBUG WebIntegration.TitanUpdateWebRequest - Starting Execute for request: TitanUpdateWebRequest performing action Login for hero: " and the character you logged in.

    Please copy that line untill the line saying "INFO WebIntegration.TitanUpdateWebRequest - Done with Execute.". and post it here.

Alternatively, you can just email that entire log file to saintnicster at cohtitan dot com.

Be sure to reset the logging level in HeroStats to WARN.  With Debug Mode on, the file can get big, fast.

Ok, so I figured out why it's loosing the icon with HeroStats.  However, I am also fixing/cleaning some other stuff in the scripts as well. 

The issue only affects HeroStats, though, so if you want to verify through Glyc, it should work correctly.

Sorry for the delay.  Arachnos Soldiers and Widows should now be correctly displayed when updated via HeroStats.
