Thank you titan network for remaining an independent port in past and any future storms.  Thank you for providing utilities and forum

You said the private servers aren't quite legal, so you don't fully support them, or recommend their use. What about Paragon Chat. How does it's standing compare? :)

I'm going to direct you to this post by Codewalker that talks about the legality of Paragon Chat: https://www.cohtitan.com/forum/index.php?topic=10977.msg184303#msg184303

I'm not a lawyer. But my impression is that Paragon Chat is relatively safe.

That post is old but not much has changed since it was written.

The chat server itself is not a problem; we can run that forever without a threat because it's just a standard chat server -- there's nothing even remotely COH-related about it.

The Paragon Chat software is in a little bit of a gray area but is probably fine.

The one thing that is likely an issue is distributing the Issue 24 beta client. That's why the Paragon Chat download does not provide the client files and requires you to obtain them some other way. We don't host any of them at Titan, and while a lot of users do post about it, we have gone out of our way to never endorse the use of third-party installers like Tequila that download copyrighted files.

Homecoming is being run by a different group.  You can find them at forums.homecomingservers.com to get started.

Titan Network does not share account or user info with Homecoming at all.  You'll need to make a new account over there.

This is my barbeque, Aries!  Mine! :P

Fake-mad aside, I'm glad to see someone else also committed to helping players out for little to no reward. :)  Keep being awesome.

Yes, Titan Network covers 0% of my ISP costs as thanks for the help the last few years.  It's competitive with other volunteer communities I'm told.

Good to see this place is still around.

Here's to another 10 years of Titan.
I'm all dressed up with nowhere to go
Walkin' with a dead man over my shoulder

Waiting for an invitation to arrive
Goin' to a party where no one's still alive
