Were Defender HP values nerfed at some point?

Besides when the game shut down, obvs.

I'm asking because I swear I remember something about how Defenders had mid-range HP: Lower than Tankers and Scrappers, but higher than Blasters and Controllers. Kinda like how some support classes in other games (like Clerics) have some beefyness to them so they can keep supporting the group longer. BUT, I went to look into this recently (Paragon Wiki, of course!), and it seems that at shutdown, Defenders had the worst HP, tied with Controllers.

So, am I mis-remembering this, or was this changed at some point?

Those numbers go back at least as far as 2007, so if there was a change it happened pretty early in the game's evolution.
