I don't recall Cisco every complaining about his powers before.
For a while, in the beginning, he viewed them as a curse and thought he'd turn out like Eobard.

Wasn't that because his E2 version was evil? There was no reason to conclude he would turn out the same way.

MyriVerse

I thought it was just a general power corrupts thing.

This is true - how many metas actually are good guys? Barry, Cisco, Ralph, Wally? Just about everyone else that gets powers turn evil.
Caitlyn almost fell to the dark side but came back.

Mandu

I dunno. I might complain too if I were Cisco. Don't forget that his warp gates are under his control but not his visions. He just touches something and suddenly has a vision.

Sit down in a public toilet ***VIBE***
Pick up a camera owned by Ralph  ***VIBE***
Take a cucumber out of Caitlin's refrigerator ***VIBE***

he probably already needs some serious therapy.

I thought the involuntary vibing was only for other dimensional stuff. But in any event he's been able to control that recently. Also I'm sure we don't know what you're suggesting with those last two examples :P

Yet another instance of 'Arrowverse personality disorder' with
Spoiler for Hidden:
Barry's murdery rage
. Should really be an entry in the next DSM - subjects exhibit intense, random, irrational reactions to their current situation, defend these reactions vehemently then completely reverse themselves within 20 minutes.

Maybe the Elseworlds thing had something to do with it. he did become Oliver Queen for a while - even though he was still him, he did have Ollie's fighting skills so maybe some personality rubbed off on him.

or it just runs in the family - Nora goes back and forth too from being incredibly angry to mellow at the drop of a hat.

It's hardly limited to a few characters though. I stand by my theory that there's a lunatic of the week wheel in the writers' room.

Well they did show Pyscho Pirate exists in the Arrowverse.......

Tenzhi

Well, then.  No more sympathy for that villain.
When you insult someone by calling them a "pig" or a "dog" you aren't maligning pigs and dogs everywhere.  The same is true of any term used as an insult.

Vee

I missed Goldface's ridiculous helmet. Though I liked him and that plot line overall. Too bad the rest of the ep was par for the course.

Isn't gold like one of the softest metals? I think I learned that reading Metal Men comics.

Vee

Presumably goldalloyface isn't as catchy.

Tenzhi

Of course Sherloque always ends up with the same Woman...

What kind of electrical power is needed to melt gold, I wonder?

Didn't seem like a particularly bright move from Iris.

And this is the reason why I still hate Iris.

Yeah, she's got all the anti-charisma of Smallville's Lana combined with the worst decision making skills of Arrow's Felicity.

Iris never bothered me before. But she has been getting rather annoying as the show goes on.

And once again they got <this close> to catching the bad guy and he gets away, again.

I think these season long story arcs can be problematic.  Especially when they're hammering at them nearly every episode.  They should stay more episodic, and if they're going to have a season arc only a handful of episodes should revolve around it, with a few epilogue scenes here and there to remind us it's going on.

saipaman

Going to 13 episodes per season would help too.
