New week, new kitty. From the Party Host, a Tuxedo Kitten.

A couple costume pieces. Cosmic cape?

And Hideouts in the store for 750 anniversary favours.

And I was wrong about the Cosmic Cat being linked to Cat Lady. You get the Cosmic Cat for doing a set of 3 rescue missions each week. So, I'll probably get that.

This week, when you do a cycle of 3, you get a Sphynx Cat.

*Majadi orders three more litter boxes for her townhouse... and another kitty condo.*

So, it looks like the final count of cat AFs is, appropriately, 9.

1. Orange Tabby named Tabby (Party Host; Week 1)
2. Blue Tabby named Smokey (rescue cycle; comes with some perk title)
3. Calico named Duella (I'm thinking I misremembered and this came from Party Host in Week 2)
4. Tuxedo Cat named Mask (rescue cycle; comes with some perk title)
5. Orange Kitten named Tidbit (Part Host; Week 3)
6. Siamese named Popcorn (rescue cycle; comes with some perk title)
7. Tuxedo Kitten named Darien (Party Host; Week 4)
8. Sphynx Cat named Wrinkles (rescue cycle; comes with "Caturday" perk title)
9. Cosmic Cat named Meowicus, Pouncer of Worlds (for doing all the rescue cycles)

Here's a pretty good look at Cosmic Cat grooming herself. She's a star field (like Marvel's Eternity) with huge stars for eyes... and a cute pink nose.

The cat gods have spoken! Because of the extended maintenance of the servers (today and tomorrow), the Anniversary Event is being extended until Oct 2. This means Majadi just might earn the "Cat Lady" perk. Yay! (I'm 207/250-- 5 more missions)

CO's base combat SYSTEM is ok its the enemy design and "mechanics" which are terribly awful, relying way too much on stunlock and knockspam to be remotely fun.

TBH, I like the CO enemies more than CoH's.

But anyway... KITTEHS! Still on track for Cat Lady. Otherwise, I think I've gotten all I want from the event.

I showed my partner the cats and she was tempted to play for a moment or two. She's too involved to drag herself away from the people she's role playing with atm, though.

Then she started ranting about mini mines and I lost her.

Sooo I found out it was CO's 9th but didn't post anything due to... I dunno why. I was really glad when someone did and then went back and played STO with a lil less guilt.

And then a riddle came..

How many purrs does it take to get to the center of a crazy cat lady?

Majadi haz 5 (but one's a grey wolf trying to fit in).

Apparently, there's a perk for this. Becoming a Cat Lady requires you do the cat mission like 27 times this month (almost every day).

Oh.

And then there was some weird math (as is required in any geek/gamer post of significance). Leet rewards were revealed and the clock starts ticking at ... 4 weeks?

Yeah, I've been there just about every day to check in and rescue kitties.

Each mission, you rescue 9 cats.
250-144=106 cats.
106/9=11.77778 (or 11 7/9).

I'm now at 153. So, 10.77779.

I'm not sure when the event ends. Is it only 4 weeks or until the end of September? If it ends the 27th, then I can't make Cat Lady.

I've just learned about a Cosmic Cat AF for getting all the other perks. I guess that comes with Cat Lady.

And then I got a very, very cute kitten which is still doing figure 8's between Deeps's ankles and purrrrring. I can honestly say that his lil kitten is my.... second favorite action figure, and, by far the cutest. The kitten AF is more.... natural than the others I've used (played with..) up until now. Until now they are mostly like... AF's - lil dollies that follow me around (which, is the very weird and wonderful intention of AF's... to be your dolly's dolly. Your G.I. Joe's G.I. Joe...)- kinda voodoo dolly like... Whereas the kitten.. is very lifelike and adorable like a pet.

And now we're down to the wire....
