Is there a way to rotate objects anything but 90 degrees?

Alt and left mouse button.

Edited...

Alt-left mouse button turns things.
Shift-left mouse moves up and down.
Ctrl-left mouse moves things on the same plane.

Wall cabinets can work like walls, too. The dark wooden ones and the white ones even fit together like walls without needing to be doubled. the wood, tho, has some carved relief that cause clipping problems with some things, so be careful.  :)

Wall cabinets, especially the dark molded cherry-wood colored ones, make excellent wainscotting at floor level.  :)

And with the help of a cubicle, they can be stacked to make a wall like bookcases that don't have to be nested. {Smile}

But I was wrong about them working like walls. They only do that some of the time, more often than not, when you don't want them to. {rueful look}

The plain corkboard under Wall Details placed on the cherrywood wall cabinets hides any clipping things. Decorate on top of and along the sides for decorative wall art.

This is hiding clipping from the backs of black chairs being used as pillowson the bed on the other side:

Bed is three white desks, two black armless chairs, and a floor tile. The headboard is a bunch of the large oriental style wall lights. Placed right, they do not clip through the back of the wall cabinets but will clip through the front.

I don't even know where to start. I see a base portal but how do I even build a base?

Question:  Is it possible to move the teleportal entrance room to a base?  To move it to another location on the base-grid?

If you go to "Upgrade Plot," you can shift the plot around, making the entrance closer to the center or sides of the plot, but you can't alter the configuration of the rooms without deleting them and starting over.

If you don't want a bigger plot size just click Upgrade Base and drag the grey plot in between rooms to where you want it to be.
