Another year and another of our heroes has had to step away.

Doug Ott - AKA Todogut - AKA the guy rocking the BOSS Statesman Costume has gone onward.

I'd met Doug at several conventions over the years. Though I didn't know him terribly well, he was a stand-up guy and I'm glad I got to know him.

So break out your /em holdtorches for him. He deserves it.

I met him many times at the GenCon meet and greets. I proudly have my "Statesman's Pal" badge displayed in my office.  :'(

Thank you for passing this along Hyper. He was a great guy, and will be missed just as greatly.

Oh man, that sucks so bad. I never met him, but I really liked his costume and his unswerving dedication to the community and the game. I'm at work right now so I can't really comment in depth, but this is completely on my mind now.  :'(

So sorry that he is gone.  After the shutdown he traveled to cons, holding the torch for all of us and the City we loved. 

Now we hold the torch in his memory.

Wow, I'm so sorry I just now found this post.

I'm compelled to say how I really enjoyed reading Todogut's posts and to say I've missed his positive energy, and, to hold up a late torch.
