It looks like a fever dream

Your fever dreams make more sense than mine and seem to be set in Sengoku era Japan...
When you insult someone by calling them a "pig" or a "dog" you aren't maligning pigs and dogs everywhere.  The same is true of any term used as an insult.

After watching the trailer I'm still pretty sure I don't need this (but I'll probably watch it anyway because I'm easily entertained I guess).

The shot of a contemplative Grodd with a telescope made me laugh.

Alfred muttering, "Kisama!" was pretty awesome.

That was strange..yet not the strangest thing in DC lately.

The strangest thing DC is doing is Making Harley Quinn a Heroine.

Fun but I think I liked the trailer better. The flash of the toothless snake at around 45 minutes was the biggest whaaa? for me. which is saying something considering some of the stuff that happens.

The computer animation that makes up the bulk of it is awkward.  There's a chunk where it shifts to sketchy animation that looks awful and unfinished.  The English voices aren't very good.  The monkeys were amusing briefly, but then it got too stupid for me.

Saw this on Netflix.  I couldn't get through it all, it was so dumb.

Batman is an idiot and the tech toys were ridiculous.  Batmobile -> Batwing -> Batcycle ->Bat-Powerarmour

When deprived of his tech toys, Batman is ready to give up?

Maybe I'm just an old fart, but I remember Batman being a resourceful detective who could also fight.  He was in Detective Comics, not MMA-Badass-(Totally Not Copying Tony Stark at all) Comics. His toys all fit into small pouches on his belt and he never gave up.

It's Japan. I'm surprised Batman hasn't merged with Devilman, grown wings from his head, and ripped apart his enemies.
