I'd be a bit surprised if they actually managed to pull off putting a third season together, but I wouldn't complain.

I would be some variety of whelmed.
When you insult someone by calling them a "pig" or a "dog" you aren't maligning pigs and dogs everywhere.  The same is true of any term used as an insult.

Wish they'd do a season in between the existing seasons then one after season two. But really anything that gets Bruce Timm back on to episodic tv instead of the mostly mediocre movie adaptations I'd be stoked for.

Saw a couple new articles today claiming Netflix is actually collecting viewing info with a view to bringing it back. As far as I can tell though the new articles just read the one eabrace linked and kind of ran with it, as that is the only evidence they give.

 Young Justice producers had a contract with Hasbro that stated as long as the show had high ratings and (here is the catch) the toys sell well the show will continue. At the end of season 2 the show had the highest rating for cartoons and was expected to film through season 3 and possibly 4...but...Hasbro announced toy sales were down...the show was cancelled because of the contract with Hasbro!
A few episodes of season 3 were filmed before shutdown.

Seems like a psa at the bottom of the screen in season 2 to that effect would have solved that problem. being able to save a tv show by buying action figures sounds like a nerd wet dream.

Oh, man, that's good news, especially that Greg Weisman is coming back for it.  (Without him, I'd be far less enthusiastic)
