Where would we be now?
« on: August 25, 2015, 02:08:22 PM »
The developers were able to achieve some pretty impressive things over the lifespan of this game. What was once thought as impossible came in the form Inventions, Mission Architect, Power Customization, raids, Going Rogue, and much more. We know they were already working on the LUA scripting API for Mission Architech, Psionic Melee, Radiation Melee, Savage Melee, Staff Fighting, Wind Control, Bio Armor, Radiation Armor, Martial Combat, Advanced tiers of the Incarnate System, new power pools and a 5th power for every existing pool, and probably more that I'm missing.

If City of Heroes were still going today, what kind of new powers, mechanics, and technology do you think we would see today?

Here's a list of things planned with i24's release:

Was looking forward to the Blaster changes the most.  I think Staff Fighting came out in i22.  Genesis, Stance, Vitae and Omega Incarnate powers.  The Battalion story arc starting in i25.  Read some notes about the "Coming Storm" and read/watch "The Immortal Game" by Arcanaville:

I guess I was really looking forward to the Battalion invasion story line, both for the content and the new incarnate powers.

I'm assuming they would have over-reached and thrown a few stink-bombs in there power wise. They probably would have also finished all the incarnate abilities, and maybe added more end-game content.

At this point, I'd be 100% happy with a working i23 server.

Check out the Lore AMA for lots of info on future plans: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Lore_AMA
I used CIT before they even joined the Titan network! But then I left for a long ol' time, and came back. Now I edit the wiki.

I'm working on sorting the Lore AMAs so that questions are easily found and linked: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Lore_AMA/Sorted Tell me what you think!

I was looking forward to that too. I really wanted to see what they looked like too; I was imagining some kind of futuristic Greco-Roman space invaders.
