Burnt Toast:

I am working with the information that is in Mids build 1.962 which has some of the Issue 24 stuff in it. For the most part the IO bonus changes will only make these builds more awesome... and now I shall work on your tankruptor build :)

I've been rethinking my whole strategy for characters considering these changes. For starters, my NA/ is possibly going to become a /NA.

And if ya want to give one a try, how about an Ice/Time tankrupter? I had a tankfender that made it to fiddy but never got the IO treatment or Incarnate. Would like to make a corrupter version if I can keep the tanker kind of feel.
I'm looking to keep all three aoe's and all three single target blasts from ice. The rest is negotiable.

Very interesting build. Thank you for the work. I love working and discussing builds.

I put together one myself that has only ~40% to defense, but fills that whole with Time's Juncture.

Yours has a higher recharge too, PBU, 2 travel powers, more heal, better end usage and the capped Melee defense

Mine has more health, BU (no damage but use more often), pet, only 1 travel power, Time's Juncture (with a proc for tanking), not as much stealth, only 1 hold (but can be mag 4) and slightly better resists. 

I took a couple ideas from yours for my build. Have a look and tell me what you think.

Notice my Farsight gives 22% ToHit... that's meant for any ranged ATs that you would play with as well...giving them automatic snipe. Granted most people who have a snipe in Issue 24 will have found a way to make their snipe instant, but I figured it couldn't hurt to give that extra ToHit boost to them as well.


I always take SS + stealth IO/power because it makes travel and ghosting a lot easier.


I didn't use any purple or Superior AT enhancements because... well I know those are gonna be limited when CoH comes back more than likely hehe.


Overall your build is very solid and probably closer to your play style than the one I created, but I am glad it gave you some ideas for your build :)

Yeah, I liked the slotting you had on farsight, but I didn't have a snipe for this build to use it.

As far as the superior AT set. I can justify farming to get one set like that on a build. Any more though and it would become too much for me to deal with. It would have to be my favorite all time char and I'm an altaholic. :)

I'm not quite sure how soon this build will go live as I've got several others I want to get out. I just have to figure out the combo's.

I like several blast sets and what they can offer particularly in I24:
Ice for slows and overall damage
Sonic cuz... everyone knows
Psy has awesome -rech and control
Beam has some debuffs and very interesting damage mechanic
Dark on a corrupter has real possibilities with the damage increases
DP for extreme versatility

I have a few  of the secondary sets I want to maneuver through as well:
NA
TA
Time
Traps
Storm

So far, I'm thinking Dark/Traps, TA/Sonic (or Sonic/TA), Water/Storm, NA/DP and the Ice/Time. Not sure what to do with Beam though, maybe with NA instead of DP.
Throw in a Dark/Earth dom and a Bio/Kin/Lev w/ Magic pool tanker and I've got a full boat of characters to make.

In case you can't tell, I'm assuming we won't get back our character data but we will be going with I24.
