Just sent an email to BBC radio's Womens Hour suggesting that they may be interested in checking out Blade and Soul as being offensive. If anyone else wants to give it a shot :

although i think this may be a case where the number of emails may not affect it's likelyhood of getting through.

Someone should update the english wikipedia page of the game : it doesn't mention for now the closure of the game (and the mobilisation of players). My english is not good enough to do this. Let use any publicity we can.

I just now did a basic "News for NCSoft" search on Google and Look what just floated to the top!

"I've never believed in the End Times. We are mankind. Our footprints are on the moon. When the last trumpet sounds and the Beast rises from the pit — we will KILL it."

The internet at its finest.

There are some on there that need to go back to 4chan where they belong.

Profit

Looks like the nytimes might be in the mood for a real world hero article and maybe interested in the savecoh campaign. You guys in journalism circles and book authors might be able to jump on this better than I can. I'm gonna leave an article here that the times put out.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/09/giving/in-comic-book-industry-needy-have-heroes-of-their-own.html

It doesn't have to do with savecoh but might give an idea of what they are looking for in case someone decides to approach them.

Don't be - The Korea Times is mostly a news source for domestic consumption, and CoH only ever got an aborted launch in Korea, so the average Korean reader might not even have a clue what it is.

KTimes articles about NCsoft tend to focus exclusively on how they're doing at home, with barely ever a mention of the overseas fragment of the company, with the exception of the recent launch of Guild Wars 2.

It'll certainly be interesting to see if more information leaks out about this supposed "overseas acquisition" the article refers to. CEO Kim saying NC-Nexon-soft is going to make a big play, and then not saying what that play actually is just makes the company sound like they're pulling a fast one in a desperate bid to win back investor confidence.

Rotten Luck

I noticed this line...

"The third quarter result was disappointing, and many are worried that NCsoft can't guarantee the good results that it used to. Other revenue income from old titles has also eroded," said the analyse.

Hmm Well with out City of Heroes a source of revenue has been cut off.   It is also an Old title.  However we weren't eroded we were Chopped!
One way or another... Heroes will fly again!

It kinda does in that it mentions older games NCSoft isn't getting enough revenue from. I took that as a "Wow, bet you wish you hadn't closed our profitable game now." Seems like it would have been one of the few things making them reliable profit right now.

Cinnder

I like where it says "Without proper explanation by the CEO..."

Huh, that's so unlike NCSoft...
