Second super bowl in the history of the team - kind of excited. :)
-
Some of our neighbors out here are setting off firecrackers. ;D
-
I'm rooting for them to take the Superbowl. Couldn't stand any of the other teams that were in the conference championship round.

This WA gal is very happy! GO HAWKS!

Not sure I would say that I like the the cheerleaders' uniforms so much as I would say that I luv the stuffins. :)
-
I'm curious why the cheerleaders out fits are different colors. I suppose living in Colorado I should say some Bronco related thing. So here it goes...Ford!!!!
Did I do it right?

Lol! :)

Love it. Oh what I would pay to get a bunch of cosplayers to descend on a bowling alley on Super Bowl Sunday.

Judging by his avatar, he'll paint the town rainbow.

Someone should call the cops, 'cause the Broncos are getting murdered!
Or at the very least, FOX should put a viewer discretion warning. :P
This has been the most 1-sided superbowl in awhile.

No joke, they are getting killed. Its looking grim here in Colorado

As a Colts fan, I really wanted Peyton to have a good game, even if it ended in a loss. What I got, however, was a Broncos team that put their practice squad up against the best defense in the NFL.
So congrats to the Seahawks on your first Super Bowl championship. You absolutely rocked your time on center stage.

That was in the realm of world's worst date in terms of sequential disasters. Was Roland Emmerich producing this because it was a fire stunt away from being disaster porn. From the opening safety to Denver's sieve defense to the various turnovers by Denver is was painful to watch.
But I did like the Radio Shack commercial. I hope they keep their tinkerers section of discrete parts and educational electronics kits. I sadly doubt it though.
The Chevy commercial with the bull was mildly humorous. And 24 is back! In London! Jack and Chloe together again.

Okay, being a spaniard and all that, I don't know much about american football, heck, I don't even know why in hell you call that football while you refer to real football as soccer but anyway, I don't know much about that stuff so I have to ask, was that a normal superbowl score? looked like abuse to me, Seahawks really abused Broncos.
Denver needs a John Elway clone :P

Not usually. But the hype machine got a hold of it because the two teams aren't from "major" TV markets and they wanted people to watch, but they were the #1 offensive and defensive teams this year.
Sorry but as counter intuitive as it is, defense wins games.

It's payback for you Euros referring to an airplane's propeller as an aeroplane's tiller. (-:

I'd say. The Seahawks didn't give them an inch. The Bronco's offense wasn't the best it could have been yesterday and the Seahawks didn't even give them a chance to get back on their toes.
I guess unless you are a Blaster, the best offense is a good defense.

That makes perfect sense to me, it's the way I used to build my scrappers and brutes :) .-

Hungry dogs VS deer in the headlights, that first snap really set the tone of the game.

Say what ?
If you mean the whirly thing that makes it go forwards, that's a propeller here too, the tiller steers.

Tiller. (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=tiller&sprefix=tiller%2Caps&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Atiller) ;)

Wait, do you mean to say the rudder, or the ailerons?

Seahawks. Get your stupid steering commentary out of our victory dance thread. :p

So you're trying to steer the conversation back to the original topic? ;)

Look, the way the Broncos played the Jags could have won that Superbowl, that's 3 and a half hours of my life and a 3am walk a mile and a half home I'm not getting back.
And I can still tell that I'm not over CoH as my first reading of your comment, I was thinking "What has my main server got to do with this ?".
-
Russell Wilson is going to play baseball, also. Wonder if he'll be back to play with tourists.
-
Yay
Seachickens... er Seahawks, on your first Lombardi trophy!
Many Happy Returns...
to the Super Bowl.
Soon.
With more wins..
er I mean.. nvm.
;D

Heh, what do you think the odds are that he can be the only person to ever win both a Super Bowl and a World Series?
:o 8) :o

I picked the Seahawks to win 38-24 with a couple of interceptions, 1 returned for a touchdown and a kickoff/punt return for a td. Bold and nearly accurate predictions on my part, but MY WORD!! I had NO idea they would be THAT dominant!! Well dome Seahawks! I'm glad, as a New Yorker, that we hosted the Seahawks first Super Bowl win! I went into NYC the day before to experience Super Bowl Boulevard. the place was packed! You could hardly move around, but it was fun. the energy and excitement was in the air even though the Giants weren't in it. I'm hoping after the success the NFL had of having a super Bowl here, we get another one in the next few years or so.
But again, congratulations Seahwaks and their loyal fans! Well deserved championship!

Didn't even see this thread till now. It was such a curbstomper....:(. Even a few who were rootin for the seahawks felt somewhat disappointed the bronco's couldn't do anything, it's like the seahawks had a super speeder and a time manip among them....and a bunch of teleporters....
-
Wow. I haven't seen a drubbing that bad since Superbowl 27!
Basically they join a fairly sizeable rank of one-sided Superbowls.
27, 24, 22, 20, 18 and Superbowl 1.

Would be pretty cool if it happened!

Maybe this (http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/seahawks-sherman-knew-denver-hand-signals-super-bowl-article-1.1602485) had something to do with that.

It's possible that's a smokescreen. I remember back many years ago when Chicago claimed to have cracked another QB's (Dan Fouts' ?) signals, what they actually noticed was that he stood slightly differently for run and pass plays (source: one of Jim McMahon's autobiographies). If you actually cracked the signals, you'd say nothing and use it again next year.
-

Giants? I always thought Jets were the best NYC team.

Doesn't really matter, both of them weren't good this year.

Unless in your victorious hubris you were gloating. Never seen Sherman do that.

Fair comment, but although he has plenty of that, my suspicion is that he actually plays pretty smart even if he doesn't always act that way.
