This is an extension of the original post made on the CoH Protector boards - for those who have gotten cards and wish to share that are over on this forum now.
I received Yeti's card earlier this week and my first thought was to go to the (CoH) boards and make a post of squeeing and happiness only to remember that wasn't happening.
But Ny's card came in the mail today. *drools*, as did Layla's. Yay!

Sent second and final batch of cards out this morning.
First batch last Tuesday and was all the ones going to foreign countries (I wanted to get them out first because they take longer) plus a couple others I had made already.
So far I have Yours. Thank you very much. I love it. I got a card form Layla Rei with all her stuffed heroes, and also Little Yeti's Abominable card. I also got an ECard from Mentalshock ;D

I have gotten Vyx, Layla & Ny's cards. And ecards from Mental, Taalan and Golden Ace. When I received Vyx's card this morning it really struck me hard that I wasn't going to have a way to share all the excitement associated with this tradition. I'm glad it was decided to put the post up on Titan. I have started my cards last night. I have 1/2 of the list left.

I've gotten Mental's ecard, plus 4 (Vyx, Ny, Layla and Yeti) physical ones. I have yet to get to the post office for mine, however... But they're all addressed and sealed!

Golden Ace's card failed to survive the fire that it fell into. I had to be sure that whatever was in was dead. Pretty sure that the poison couldn't leap ten foot from the end of the pole to my hand, but I went ahead and burned the pole as well. Better safe than sorry.
My order of acid, poison and feral cats has not arrived yet. Hoping it will be here by the weekend so I can properly prepare GA's card. It wouldn't do to disappoint him at this time of year.
As for the rest of the cards, hopefully they will get to go out this weekend. I keep forgetting to get stamps. Horrible excuse I know, but the post office is no longer on my way home since they got the shortcut road fixed.
I have received cards from Yeti, Ny, Layla and Vyx. Getting one just about every day now and enjoying each and every one of them.

Actually I *got* it, but as per usual for that site (and that site alone) the flash player gets a perma-error and I can't view it. I don't know what is wrong with jibjab's site, but I have never had problems with launching ANYTHING anywhere but there. :(
I'm going to try again, either way, in the hopes that maybe something stupid had gone wrong with my browser.

if your browser starts flashing, then explodes and you die the death of a thousand cuts then the card worked as intended. If all you see is a video of my wife and kids playing on sleds then I sent you the wrong link.

As I said with the E-card, I'm only sending out a limited number of physical cards this year, due to limited sanity, and limited resources. Still procrastinating on those, though.

Oh my gosh! I received the card from Golden Ace this morning. I nearly cried. Though I did get to share my characters, their stories and the game experience with my kids while I took them to school. What tore me up the most is when each of them asked if they could play the game with me. I had to remind them that the game is closed now, but that we are still holding out hope for the community to recreate it.
Such a lovely card GA. So many memories!

Ny ( YAY for sexy santa!) .. Vyx.. Yeti - which btw i want to make those yeti finger puppets that are on the card hehe... lant and Llydia.. oh and two e-cards. I know xmas isnt here yet but Vyx if you want to do this next year also I'm up for it!
i would kissy kissy you guys but i dont want to spread my germs :P

Laylarei! My card has magical curing properties. Just lick any surface of the card and presto! You'll stop sniffling, sneezing, your temperature will go down. No more watery eyes and no more worries!

wasn't really happy with it, I changed computers a few months back then my son reformatted the old one while I was at work... lost all my programs, pictures, and emails...
Grrr wanted to kill him.
So had to get most of those pictures from the internet. *sigh*

Sorry Mental. The last big batch of cards that I wrote were thank you cards to Saint and my wedding and you don't put first names on those lol. To be fair I made sure the card was very obvious inside as to whom it was addressed to. So don't let him steal it :D

I'm the only one in the house getting cards, which is awesome... kinda sad in a way but hey - you guys are the only people I've ever sent cards TO let alone gotten any FROM. Like, ever. In my life. I'll be sending mine out probably monday since now I have some cash and will be able to do that in a bunch at the post office.

I received two pieces of mail today both originating from the unknown and hostile wilderness that lies beyond our norther border. English appears not to be their language of use in the wilds of the great white north, the return address's were a dead giveaway. They end with strange runic symbols and meaningless gibberish with way too many vowels instead of cities, states, and zip codes. although one of them tried to fool the post office by putting an English name on it, but the Post office was on to their wilderness tricks and wrote C A N A D A at the end of the address. YOU HEAR THAT YOU NORTHERN FIENDS?! YOU CAN'T FOOL THE UNITED STATES POST OFFICE!
Snowkitty and Saint, thank you for the card (I always pictured saint with more hair, or maybe a hat...). Love your pets, a cat and a raccoon? Awesome!
Stalemate and Cassiopea, I too was proud to protect paragon along side of you both. Thank you for the card.

I think I will too, only after a few more days. Some days it seems like my mail carrier is having a derp moment, but then I get like 3 cards at once hehe. Fair warning on mine, they're generic but I tried to get the right look and feel (there are 4 designs lol) to each on the list.

As a note: My cards may be delayed until AFTER Christmas, given that I'm not finished signing them and sending them out yet due to a rather hectic schedule. Considering I didn't get the bulk of the ones sent to me until early March last year due to moving home, I hope you can forgive any necessary delays.
Edit: And I honestly forgot I sent out an E-card already just in case this happened. *facepalm*

Day before yesterday was a flurry of cards. There were some from Canada and several from here in the States. Sorry, but I don't have them in front of me to mention whose they were right now. It is late and I have to be up very early tomorrow to go get my foot operated on. Some sort of tear in the Plantar Plate or something like that. Good news is it is supposed to be done in like twenty minutes. Of course it will take six hours at the surgery center regardless of how much time I spend in the back. :)

I bought $27 worth of stamps today! Lol! All sent in one big pile! I have gotten a ton of cards! There were 5 in the mail today. I giggled so much when GAs sprang to life! Very cool. Ny's was one of the first I got -even if I can't appreciate the subject matter it made me lol cause its so him!

I do wish that I had my xmas stuff with me, because all the old cards I still have and those ornaments you send are always hung up. But still it's so nice to have all the cards in the house, I think maybe 2 other cards have come to folks and there are 5 of us in the house. :D

Hey All ;D!
Cavern & I have been loving all the cards we've gotten. Ours will be going out late...I'll be sending e-cards soon, but the real one is still in the process of being made. RL has been taking WAY more time than I have wanted, so the knitted ornaments are being made slower. Given that....the ornament is knitted hats this year. Colors, shapes & tassels (have or not) are all different but in the red, green & white of the season. They will be sent off (prayfully) before the end of the year.
TY Ny - I LOVE the card & Cav liked his ;)

I got the card from Kyo, Mio, and Crim today. They came with Artz.
A Faceplant, (literally a plant with a face, wearing a cool bowtie), and a Wakie to go with it.
It took a few minutes before I could breath again.
I also got Ny's and Ura and Shesa's too.

Got cards from Tiggy, Kult, Pollyanna Matronic, Army Sgt, Warden, Impyre, and Hyperstrike today.
I have gotten more than I have mentioned, but they are up on the mantle and my foot is not cooperating with getting them down to retrieve names.
All I want for Christmas is for my toe to stop hurting. :) Seriously though it will be really nice to be able to walk around without my foot feeling like I am walking on a golf ball all the time.
