I considered that a vengeful company may do a thing like it but dismissed it until a person with a former associate of theirs suggested it.
If a fan plan can save the game... it might not work if the buyer discovers the entire content library was deleted by the publishers. Or alternatively if a purchase has IP rights only, a purchase may not include the various arcs.

Each of these has a lot of content NOT recorded in the client or media project so far. Thus it would need a screenshot or log of the text and a demorecord.
The trials also may require recording but probably will get done in the media project.

I don't have the skills here to know what i'd need to do, but this seems fairly important, so i'm commenting to put it back on the front page.

Chaos, thanks for taking my concern seriously.
I don't want to ring the emergency sirens prematurely, but yeah, it would not surprise me if NCSoft either claimed they'd erased files to make us shut up and go away, or sold an ancient version of the game as a final gesture to us. The counter-arguments rely upon a rational person in power, but as history has shown, tinpot tyrants don't like to have their authority defied, and will do all manner of irrational things out of spite. In fairness, Kim and co. would have to be inhuman if the anti-NCSoft memes we've created didn't leave them seething. My unnamed source aside, I suggest this would be in character for them.
I appreciate your measures, but I'm not sure we can cover all the possibilities, particularly in the time remaining. How can a non-techy like me help?

If you have the skill to use a forum you can record.
A lot of you do not try because it sounds difficult but it actually is a simple command and a caveat to remember not to get name collisions and start every zone.

I've been clamoring for this for months. I haven't been able to contribute myself because of RL issues, although last night I did take a screenshot tour of Croatoa, and was then helped into Orouboros by a fellow Plan Z worker.
I want to thank all of you for getting what you have archived. I'll be trying to add my own pics to the wiki when I have time.
