Title: CoH loading problem
Post by: chaparralshrub on September 26, 2012, 06:59:57 PM
All right, I have a problem: I'm trying to get onto CoH to archive stuff, but the client quits out the moment I launch it. Either the file's been corrupted, or NCSoft has killed it already. Is there any way I can get the client anew, now?

Have you tied resetting your computer? and are you using the nc launcher? The launcher messes up for me all the time and i have to use task manager to close it then reopen again. They havn't taken down the servers i checked.

If you open the launcher, there should be a dropdown option for City of Heroes to "repair".  I think.  Easier to give exact instructions when I'm not at work.  :)

Under Installed you should have a listing for City of Heroes. Right click over City of Heroes.

Repair should be an option that shows on the popup menu.

Did you reset already? If so to repair the button is in the launcher. Where it says city of heroes on the tab but after the name is a little down arrow. If you click the litte down arrow you will see a list of options, one of them is repair.
