It very much appeals to the gamer grrl numbers geek hidden so barely beneath the surface in me.

Glad you like it!  Which site were you using?  We have several, each with a pretty unique interface.  Faces is quite different from CIT, which itself is quite different from the Wiki, etc.  We're actually hoping to better integrate a lot of this functionality going forward so that it's more like one coherent site instead of six separate sites.
