Mids works fine on 64-bit windows 7 (it's what I'm using). Wait until later today for the new version, which fixes an install bug.

I just got a new Windows 7 64 bit computer, and am having difficutly installing Mids as well.  The 64 bit system will not let me install Microsoft.net framework 2 (I can, and did, install framework 4 which is 64 bit compatible). When I click on the install link (right clicking offers me no Administrator option), the computer does not recognize the extension so will not download.   Does the new version referenced to above solve this problem and is it already posted on the site? Any help you can provide is appreciated.  Thanks!

Windows 7 should already have .net 2.0...

Make sure you download mids from http://repo.cohtitan.com/mids_updates/exe/MXDSetup1-900.exe

Thanks, that worked!  For future reference, what is the location for Windows 7 downloads/updates?  Obivously what you gave me was not the same as the download on the main site, so would like to bookmark the alternate location.

As can be seen in various other threads, the download at the main site is the wrong download, the from-within-Mids-updater. It normally is the right download, the installer.
