I am back to playing City of Heroes and came across the planners and this site, and thought I would offer assistance on any current projects. I primarily do c# application development at a bank and personal projects at home. My site is http://imaginarydevelopment.com, a coding blog at http://imaginarydevelopment.blogspot.com.
I have also started an open source project at http://maybe.codeplex.com. This project is for short sweet syntactical sugar around a call chain where any step may be null.

Hell, we're always looking for interested players willing to invest time/effort into expanding the game outside of the client with a background in programming.
However, we currently only have 2 .NET platform applications; TNT: Glycerine and Mids Hero & Villain Designer; both public releases are currently in VB.NET however...
No VB.NET is not our favorite language, I guess it just was for the original developers; as we've been in discussion on migrating the sources to C# possibly even Java in one case... but until a product is finished it's all vaporware and hearsay.
TonyV is working on a series of projects, one in C# that's been kind of shelved; but he might enjoy a helping hand...
But regarding the origin of your post...
The on-line planner is php with a metric-<bleep>-ton of javascript. And Mids' is written in VB.NET (2.0.NET). So I don't know what other languages you might know... but that kind of truncates what help can be given by your skill-set.

Oh, it's not shelved. :P I'm just working hot and heavy on the PCFP site right now.
If you want to pick up what I think is going to be the basis of a very worthwhile project, take a look at Pigg Tools (http://code.google.com/p/piggtools/). It's a C# project that I've been working on.
Other than that, depending on your skill level and the time you can devote to projects like this... Oh man, do I have dreams that could keep you very busy. :)

Ach! Hans, run! (http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=73935) :P

LOL!

I could... asp.net mvc convert the planner? or merge mid's and the online to a common code/base for easier synchronization? =)
I spent over 2 years in vb, and I've done a heavy amount of javascript and jQuery in the last 6 months.
My most recent work is at http://imaginarydevelopment.com/sfc for the game at http://playstarfleet.com
My CV is filed at http://careers.stackoverflow.com/brandondimperio

Both (albeit optimal solutions) wouldn't be possible. Our server is Ubuntu/Linux and IIS support is currently not possible/feasible for our solutions. We entirely rely on Apache far too much to make such a dramatic migration.
As impressive as your skill-set is, I still see very truncated uses for it on our current platforms.

If you're interested in helping on a .NET project, there's always HeroStats! There's a few things in the Known Issues (http://herostats.org/release-notes.html#Known_Issues) that I could definitely use help in fixing. If you're interested in helping, you can contact me here or on the HeroStats mailing list (http://herostats.org/support/mailing-lists.html).
