Title: How can I export the whole of Atlas Park as something I can use in Unity?
Post by: Gabbos on April 26, 2019, 11:48:31 AM
I want to pull out all of Atlas Park and get it in Unity. I'll be honest and say that I'm not very savvy in this area, so I'm not really sure how to proceed. Most of the pigg viewers that I find don't seem to work very well. But even if they did the game seems to save cities as .geo files and I'm not sure what to do with those or how to make them get alone  with Unity.

Any ideas?

The maps are stored in the .bins, which are serialized forms of text files that the client is also able to load. The maps refer to geos, which contain the vertex buffers and textures needed to produce the geometry for various objects, as the name suggests. There are also "Fx" that produce dynamic visualizations, but I've not delved much into those.

You're not the only one in this boat: even internally Titan Network has done little more than decode a roof-mounted air conditioner model just as a proof of concept.

Sorry for the late reply.

I just wanted to tell you that a programmer friend has started to look at the source code and will be trying to work something out.

I'm curious if youve learned anything new or know of any advancements?
