Premiere was intriguing. I'm not usually a huge Gaiman guy and I've not read the novel but it was good enough for me to keep watching. Al Swearingen as Odin is enough for me to come back for more next week. Oh, probably not for those of you who're somehow not desensitized to sex and gore.

Thanks. I read the book many years ago and liked it, but I was getting a little worried about the gore based on some of the trailers. I might try the first ep to see how it is, but I doubt I'll stick with it.

I'm interested in the series, and I recall enjoying the book, and I highly doubt the sex and gore would even be a blip on my radar... but Starz is annoying about digital, so I probably won't get the opportunity to see it.

I've started trying to notice on new shows as I've recommended a couple on here that people said were too adult or gory. Prior to that I'd not have even noticed.

Still good through 3 eps, though I could do without having to see a dong every episode. Anansi's speech on the slave ship in ep 2 is worth the price of admission.

I admit I had my doubts about Whittle and Mc Shane... but in retrospect, they're both perfect casting choices.
And ...Orlando Jones as Anansi ;D
On a side note:
I'm fairly certain that the second half of 'Git Gone' is, hands down, the most hillarious piece of TV I'll ever watch.
Ya know, there is beauty in the absurdity of it all :P ;D ;D
