The Hollows vs Perez Park
Go!

Both zones have beauty to them (mainly the southern area of the hollows) I really wanted to see more content added to both zones and level cap increased to the arcs so you couldn't out level them so easily. I think I choose Perez because of the swamp forest maze and the lake.

And I choose the Hollows because Perez park had that swamp forest maze :P
Honestly, as much as I hated the early days Hollows and how difficult it was to navigate to that mission door in the FAR right back corner of the map at level 5 (which came up way too often), I feel like that made me a much better MMO player. I learned how to gauge the range of mobs and avoid them, which you don't realize how valuable a skill this is until you are trying to help a friend new to MMOs get somewhere and watch them run through ALL the mobs. Because of this I got to the point of being able to get to Portal Corps before even having a travel power and never taking a hit.
Overall, the Hollows had a decent story, cool missions, and a wide variety of terrain to mix things up. Perez in comparison was kinda dull.

The Hollows vs Perez Park
Go!
I would vote for the Hollows as it was easier to navigate around plus it had more story contacts. Whereas, Perez Park was only used as a hunting zone and a few stop over spots for a tf or 2 and story arcs.

In the old days the Hollows never had a hospital. So if you died no matter how far away from the Atlas gate you were you had to go back to the atlas hospital on the western end of the map. The run back to Hollows was long and the run back to your mission was probably longer. Perez Park is my vote because it was closer to the atlas hospital and if you had a team of 8 you could just circle the road around the park and farm the MANY mobs there. Sometimes I could get 7 levels from them.
Plus Perez Park is where I hosted the Zwillion Hero March during the protests. We filled the map server and it was awesome. It was the day Zwill had left officially. So the march was in his honor.

Hollows for me so many good memories :D
-
Perez Park since it was enjoyable hunting there and it had the Kraken.
-
I just liked Perez more. The Hollows had content, but it sort of felt like a generic zone to me.
-
I liked both equally well. But I spent more time in the Hollows because navigating the forest in Perez to find the door to a mission was a major pain in the derriere...

Hollows all the way!

Julius the kind hearted troll
Flux the outcast
FrostFire
all the trolls and outcasts to slay
running 90 to nothing trying to stay alive while getting to that mission clear across the map...
etc

Definitely the Hollows. Perez was like Boomtown for lowbies: just a boring grind.

Ditto. I spent a good part of my time here when I first joined and remember the fun times! Even without a hospital nearby...
-
Perez for me, mostly because of fond memories pre-aggro cap of tanks pulling half the zone or more into a dumpster for the rest of the AoE heavy team to blast the living crap out of.... Good times.

check, check, check, and check!
Hollows over Perez every day of the week. Twice on Sundays.

I once read a post somewhere that the City of Heroes developers should have to find their car keys in Perez Park each night.
Finding a mission door shouldn't be a mission.
The Hollows wins, even though, I learned to hate the Hollows.
-
For me Perez no question. Though Hollows has more stuff - I cut my teeth so to speak in Perez as when I started there was no Hollows.
Street sweeping my lowbies and of course Hydra hunting with teams in Perez lake.
-
I just realized that in the Hollows, the problem was trying to get to the mission before getting killed.
In Perez, the problem was finding the mission without getting killed.
I'll still take the Hollows.
