Title: City of Heroes Items Auction
Post by: Arbiter on July 13, 2014, 07:23:54 PM: Ok, I decided to try selling a few of my City of Heroes items on eBay, but because I've not tried that before I decided to start small and list a couple of items to get used to the process.

I've put up for sale one of the City of Heroes / Villains Art Books and one of the Desdemona Mouse Pads that I have. You can find the auctions here:

Post by: MWRuger on July 13, 2014, 10:04:27 PM: Just be aware that the mousepad is more of a mousepad sticker (at least mine was.) it has a peelable back and you afix it to the desk. Would have been nicer as an actual pad.

You could make your own with a high quality scan and one of those mousepads that you slip a photo into.

Not knocking it, just wasn't what I expected.

I don't have the Desdemona one, but I do have a razer sphex mat. They're nice. I like that I can mouse pretty much anywhere I want on the right side of my desk lol.

Hmm. Mine doesn't, and the back is textured towards making it stay put.

Shipping to Canada is about $15 and shipping to Sweden is about $19.

If you are still interested in either item, I will have more of them for sale over the next several weeks.

For those of you who are out of the USA, EBay has recently started a world wide shipping program to help handle international orders. It's supposed to make shipping and customs simpler and I'm willing to give it a try if the buyer of the items wants to try it.

Also, I included a note to the winners of my last auctions thanking them and will do that for these auctions as well. The person who bought the mouse pad seemed happy (https://www.facebook.com/groups/2205011305/permalink/10152556462561306/) and it made me very glad to see how great of a community there still is for City!

But I'm not surprised. Not really. I'll be curious to see just how high they go. :)
