Just a heads up, the company that purchased gamespy awhile back has announced that it'll be shutting down all the matchmaking servers it runs on May 31st. This means that any game that uses gamespy for matchmaking or server browsing will lose that functionality, unless of course that game's publisher moves that game onto another matchmaking service.

Man, I was just a junior high kid when Gamespy came out. I still remember the wav file that'd play when you launched Gamespy, like a radio station tuning into gameplay of Quake and Command and Conquer: Tiberian Dawn.
