I guess anyone who cares probly knows by now that the wiki is not down just due to a glitch.
For what it's worth, Thanks CO Wiki for ... everything.
I always had to shake my head at any rant against the wiki. I mean.. It was an incredibly useful player made/maintained free service for other players.
If I started playing today I don't know how I would learn as much about the game without having the wiki. When I made my first FF I spent more time in the wiki and the PowerHouse (webpage & in-game) than I did actually playing. By far. The wiki helped put everything together.
I pity future wikiless newbs.
If I wanted to know something more about an Event, mish, NPC, *whatever*, CO wiki was the first stop. Not only did I find the info to be accurate and helpful and understandable but often it was also organized very usefully for my purposes.
I'll keep sticking up for PowerHouse, too. It's going to be a lot more difficult tool to use without the wiki but at least it exists and is useful. Thanks PowerHouse guys for what j00 do too.

I don't know any details. After it being down since awhile now I did a quick google today and from what I can tell it's not a technical issue.

I only ever used the CO wiki a couple times. While I found it helpful for what I needed, I never could stand the black background.
My dogs aren't big fans of white backgrounds in their wee hours (like now) due to I use a tv for a screen and there's always one on the couch with me and a whitescreen is like a big flashlight.
I can go either way but I lean towards less glare too. *shrug*
<3 CO wiki. Hope it comes back soon and whoever was running it & contributing to it feels appreciated.
