I wasn't sure if I should put this here or in the Task Force Hail Mary area, but the thoughts are still the same:
I notice there's not really a Thank You thread to everyone that's working diligently on various forms of preserving CoX, whether by working on spiritual successors or reviving the game on some level like with Icon. I don't really have the skills or situation to actively participate in any of the options available, but it helps a lot to be able to load Icon and resurrect my toons to fly around maps. It helps a lot to pop into the forums when I can and see updates on various things. The hope helps. A lot.
So, thanks a lot, all of you that continue with the vision and determination. :)
Enthusiastically seconded! Hear, hear!
I wholeheartedly concur. And I hope every project from reverse engineered servers to spiritual successors gets off the ground and flies high. 8)
DITTO! Wish I had thought of this.
Agreed. To all those working endlessly on the various projects, whether it be the Hail Mary team, Heroes and Villains, Pheonix Project, or reverse engineering...
Thank you very much!
Edited because the thanks wasn't big enough. I'd make it bigger, but I'd rather not be an eyesore to the Titan team. Oh...that reminds me...
Thank you Titan Network!...
... for allowing everyone to have a forum home, and just being the awesome folks you are!
Actually...yeah, should have thought of this myself, So...you get a thank you for making the thread!
And yeah, thank you Titan for keeping up everything and giving us a place to stay for now.
Thank you to everyone working on saving the game, be that bringing it back or bringing us back together in some new game. And thank you to everyone who's done anything that lest us relive it, even a little.
I agree completely! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you to all the stalwart heroes who will not give up, will not give in, will not go quietly, will never surrender, and will stay right there holding the torch! I salute you all!
I know I've said thank you and expressed my appreciation for those that have, and continue, to keep Our City going. From community organizers to folks plugging at code, even those like myself who often just have silent support and warm wishes to those more capable in those departments than us.
In the words of Our City, more than thank you;

Thank you very much everyone for everything!
Thank you TonyV for giving me hope and inspiring me!
Thank you to everyone working on the Phoenix Project and HaV for all of your hard and amazing work!
Thank you Titan Network/CoH community for standing together and showing that we are still united!
Thank you for being the BEST community ever!
Thank you everyone for being Heroes! ;D
Indeed. One cannot say much more than +1 and Thank You All.
Thanks for the technical work like Icon and the new games under development.
Thanks for the efforts like TFHM to get NCsoft to sell.
Thanks simply for everyone's efforts to keep our community together.
/em holdtorch, definitely
Coming from another one feeling semi-useless:
Thank you so much.
Just keeping hope alive is worth all the thanks in the world.
And Icon.
And having a place to share with fellow refugees.
Yep.
Thankyou to everyone who has put the time and effort into continuing things. From the Hail Mary task forces to the new projects coming through with all the bits and bobs in between.
I miss my city and the heroes that lived there.
Thanks,
-H
Absolutely...Thank You very much !
Yes. Yes, absolutely. Thank all of you fine people for working hard on our behalf. Every one of you who's ever picked up a pen, pencil, keyboard, microphone, calculator, hand-carved abacus, or whatever other tools you work with, for the benefit of the rest of us.

* * * You're a star! * * *
Indeed, a hearty thank you to everyone working hard trying to save the game we all love, in our old city or new!
I must add my thanks. I come here every day to remind myself that there are those whom are working extremely hard to do something I wish I had the skills to contribute to. I know I don't see a fraction of what you are all doing, and I have to say thank you from every fiber of my being.
I don't think I can adequately express how much this means to me.
Thank you.
Ellscry
A big thank you for what we saw you make.
And an even bigger thank you for what we haven't see yet!!
This is a great idea for a thread, so I wouldn't go as far to say you don't have any skills worth contributing.
I'd like to thank the all of the Titan staff for keeping this place up since the closure, and everyone working diligently on the successor projects. There is an unprecedented amount of professionalism and maturity in this community that I've never seen anywhere else, and coming here is like visiting a virtual family sometimes.
So thank you all.
Indeed! Thank you very much to everyone here! Keep up the good fight! :)

Absolutely, you all have my sincerest gratitude, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what comes next!
Sincere thanks from this corner too. Always helps to know there are people out there fighting the angel of death over the spirit of CoH.
I adore you guys *group hug*

Absolutely! I'm so excited to see what comes next and can't wait to contribute to the Kickstarter for Project Phoenix. Everyone who has worked on TF Hail Maryyou guys don't know how much we appeciate y'all. Our world may be a little dim right now without CoH but the flame of our community will burn brighter than ever soon.
You really can never say thank you enough, and I'm not sure I've said it enough here. Thank you Team Wildcard for the work you're doing to save the game. Thank you Tony for this wonderful site. Thank you coders who have given us ICON and the ability to return home, even if it's not in it's full glory--it's /home/. And thanks to all the community members who've stuck it out, despite the hard times. :)
Thanks to everyone who has made the loss of COH a little easier to bear and who has given us hope that we might experience-- if not COH itself-- then something like it again. :D
Thank you all so much. I'm still taking the loss of CoH hard, but at least I know there's other people out there to whom the game meant a lot, and who are trying to bring it or something like it back.
Thank you, all who participate, for sharing what you can, when you can, and proving our community is more than a chat window on a server.
I have to say a very big thank you as well.
From Team Wildcard trying to find us a new home/patron, to the new game developers trying to make whole new worlds for us, and today most especially to Codewalker as I finally had some time off of work to install Icon and load the game. It was unreal - I could almost fool myself that I was back home; in some sense, I was. After a brief bit of trickiness in adjusting the keybinds to my game controller, I was able to fly again (when asked, I always told people that flight was my favorite power in the game, as I just love to fly). I was a bit rustier than I thought after 7 months of no gaming, but after half an hour I was again moving around deftly and surely as if I had never left. Saving a file to my desktop for the map names list and a few more keybinds and I can move zones with one button and change costumes with another; with new keybinds and windows setting files, future access should be smooth as well. I'm honestly not sure after the shutdown that I really dared to hope we'd get even this far, though I tried.
I don't have words. I don't know how to say thank you enough, but again, thank you.
Thank you, indeed. You have been my lifeline to our lost community and although I wish the successors all the luck in the world, I keep hoping against hope that one of these days I'm going to log on to the Titan forums and will read that City of Heroes is coming back. I know if that happens, I'll hear it here first.
Thank you everyone involved with this site, the successor projects, and for simply "getting it". You have made the last several months somewhat bearable and for that, I cannot thank you enough.

You'll know you really miss it when you go to look at Boomtown.
Oh, wait. I went to look at Boomtown. Thanks, all. I miss the City terribly.

I made a Fusionette toon in CO, and at least one player admitted to even missing HER.
I keep checking these boards several times a day, I'm that eager to hear good news about a future CoH. Thank you all, that they're still here, and that we HAVE a place to look for news. (I know that I already said "thank you", but it bears repeating.)
We will know things are getting bad when people start trying to recreate Flambeaux because they miss her!
Thank you Tony V., Victoria V., Codewalker, TF Hail Mary The entire Titan Network, Paragon Wiki, All 3 Project Phoenix, And every one who has either developed, programmed or played CoX. You all have made and will continue to make CoX the greatest Damn community in the Universe!!! ;D
What everyone in this thread has already said^3.
i frequently check here and other CoH/successor sites/groups to see what's happening.
So far i've been very impressed with the dedication, perseverance, and ingenuity shown by everyone trying bring back the CoH experience.
i feel confident that someday soon it shall pay off.
Thanks, folks, for keeping hope going. It's been since the end of November. I still deeply miss the game; Marvel Heroes fills the void of having a superhero game I can play with my girlfriend in one way, but, while it's a fun game, it's not City of Heroes. Here's hoping something works out in the long run. I just hope it's sooner rather than later if it does.
I just have to say this:
Actually making a new character and being able to load into Atlas and hitting f12 to toggle about to various locations was almost a tear-jerking experience. And for me, that's really saying something. I knew when the game ended, I had the opportunity to work on various things in my life. However, I don't think I really had any idea that I would miss the game as much as I do. The game ended in November, and for whatever reason - maybe stress because I couldn't do iTrials anymore - I got a stomach ulcer. Just being able to fly today was really quite therapeutic.
Thanks very much for the time and effort put into this. Makes me look forward to MWM's The Phoenix Project even more.
Blessings to all
I sorely miss the game, like everyone else here. I am just glad that someone with the know-how, and gumption to do so, is trying their collective asses off to give back to the community. From TFHM to Plan Z, from SEGS to Icon, thank everyone that is giving their time and effort to the cause.
A big thanks to everyone involved and also to this community!!!
