Oh that was a GREAT video!

Coincidentally on a tangent, I've been searching for a CoH tribute song that played on Paragon Radio shortly before shut down. I can't remember its name, but I remember the key line of the song:

"And the City of Heroes saves one more soul...tonight."

Aaaaaand now I'm crying...

But really that's a beautiful video, arguably the best I've seen. I tend to avoid the "final moments of City of Heroes" video. As one who could not be online when the servers went dark (something that pains me to this day) I think that would be too hard to watch.

That's one of them.  The other two that make me cry like a baby are Samuraiko's (http://cohtube.blogspot.com/2012/10/one-last-day.html) and Angelus Animi's (http://cohtube.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-parting-glass.html).

Angelus also made these (http://cohtube.blogspot.com/2012/10/coh-always-good-time.html) two (http://cohtube.blogspot.com/2012/12/happy-holidays-city-of-heroes.html) that takes the edge off a bit.

I can't decide whether Jack In Irons/Rularuu dancing or the Patrons doing that crotch grab move made me laugh harder!

Thanks for that... it DEFINITELY took the edge off!

I've been missing the psi power sets very much lately. I would endlessly play a console game version of CoH with just the psi powers alone and it would be more fun than anything out there for me

Those are great tear-jerkers.  The other one that always does it for me is Evangel's farewell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hWfkHa4cBI

Omg I know what you mean - my favorite character was my energy/psi blaster (Safehouse, of course). I loved his powers so much that my fanfiction centers on him. The psi effects were awesome. Anything with the mind was pretty awesome... illusion, mental manip, psychic blast...

When I saw psionic melee on the icon costume creator, I openly wept...

bit misty eyed here.  and I agree that was the best tribute I've seen. I think it was the song.  was perfect for this.

A song that I would love to see done as a tribute video to the City:

I hadn't seen "The Parting Glass" one before.  I was good until the flare-to-logo at the end, at which point I had to check to make sure my office door was shut so no one would hear the unmanly noises I was making.

I miss this game so much...
