Since the shutdown of our beloved game many of us have emigrated to other MMO's and online games. Often times we recapture the community we had by banding together in these games via chat channels and specific servers. My aim with this thread is to have an easy reference of such things so that we can find the community in our favorite game, or in a game we've just started playing. I don't know very many myself however, so I'm going to need your help!
I intend to keep this list updated in this post.

Thanks guys!
Any chats on WoW?
Also on Cryptic's games (Neverwinter, CO, and STO) are a CoH Refugees chat channel and a City of Heroes Chat Channel.

Also interested in this. Having trouble finding it is what led me to make this thread.
Me I'm on Moonguard. At the moment highest level char is 22. Willing to move for fellow CoX refugees.
Hmm that is a question does WoW chats go across servers?
Seeing as how I cannot find a COH chat channel in WoW I've taken the liberty of creating CohRefugees.
I've also listed Moon Gaurd as the official City Of Heroes WoW server since that's where most of us seem to be already.
Chat channels in WoW don't go across servers, no.
No, but at least we'll have a common channel to join on moon gaurd.
Okay I just Joined the CohRefugees channel on Moonguard WOW.
Characters are..
Finngeirr
Race: Dwarf
Class: Hunter
Tukalzul
Race: Troll (you know he's not a unicorn!
Class: Rogue
I wonder if some devs can get together and make a chat app that looks similar to what we had in Cox? It would have some of the same channels and look and feel. I would be onboard with that and would help develop it too.
That would be so very awesome.
The Elder Scrolls Online only has a single mega server for North America and no custom chat channels. However, you can be a member of 5 guilds, so I have gone ahead and created a "City of Heroes Refugees" guild. Send an email to @therain93 and I can invite people.
I have been thinking of resubbing to WoW and just noticed this thread. There are two servers for Coh refugees? Wyrmrest and Moonguard? Also is it Horde or Alliance side? I have no preference myself but I would like to reconnect with some of the CoH community.

Nice! I just started playing Neverwinter, so I guess I'll go join that channel as soon as possible. Hope to see some of you guys there. :D
So I'm currently playing WoW on the Moon Guard server. Is that still the place to be for CohRefugees? Is anyone here still even playing WoW?

Most people play on Moon Guard so I've changed the index to reflect this. As for alliance or horde it seems there might be slightly more people on horde.
I've actually been thinking of getting back into WoW, so maybe I'll see you there. :)

How do we join the chat channel? I've tried /join CohRefugees but that just seems to create a custom channel of the same name.
It seems the channel has become defunct since I left. I've recreated it and invite you all to join. It's cohrefugees just like last time.
An update on the list:
Cryptic Studios Games* - CoX / CoX STO / CoH Refugees / City of Heroes
* This includes Neverwinter, Champions Online and Star Trek Online: the channels and chat messages are sent across games.
The COX channel is the most popular at 2,000+ users, and CoX STO at 220. The last two have 50 users total, and are really silent in my experience.
CoX STO is for Star Trek Online players who have a channel to move to when their discussion on builds and consoles to slot gets to be too much for everyone else.
As a minor update:
CoH Channels for Cryptic Games --
It's [CoX STO], not [Cox STO]. Not trying to be picky, but channels on Cryptic games are case-sensitive.
CoH Guilds in other games --
Champions Online -- Paragon Dawn (http://paragondawn.com/) is the merger of other CoH Champions Supergroups: Justice Girls, Hero Dawn, and Geek's United. They even have a website and a radio station. Other SGs from CoH players are out there, but they're mostly quiet. Paragon Dawn also has a fleet in Star Trek Online and a Guild in Neverwinter if you're interested as well.
Star Trek Online -- The original fleet (Paragon Fleet) is defunct, so two more were formed with active players: Paragon Expeditionary Fleet for active players, and Paragon Vanguard Fleet for casual and "secondary toons".
Neverwinter -- I'm not aware of a particular City of Heroes only Guild. The group I'm with is the Enigmatic Order of The Cape, from Cape Radio, and most folks from Cape Radio are ex-COH players. So it stands to reason if you want to play with other COH veterans, that's a good option. If there's a specific COH-only guild that's active in Neverwinter, I'm willing to learn of it.
All three games, the best path to an invite is to ask in the [CoX] channel. If no one from the guild is on at the moment, try asking later but don't give up. Keep trying, someone who's in a guild will eventually hear you.
