I turned to playing with older friends today, who joined me in the snow...

LOL... just thought I'd share with you all for the laughs.
I saw people complaining about all the snow talk and pictures on social networking, so I gave them this. ;D
Had fun digging through my old collection of original SW toys... And, yes, one of those tauntauns has the split open belly action!! ;D
That brings back so many fond memories.
>.> I think it's time for me to Transform and roll out! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLUPD_NOi5U)
I'm afraid that nothing I say here will be heard over the sound of just how badass you are.
Yeah, that. Can't be summed up better.
EK I just want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for inspiring the google search that found these:

Also, you're really making me miss my TMNT Pizza Shooter and blimp right now.
Also also, +1 to the badass thing.

The only thing I would be able to hear is "Echo Station Three-T-Eight, we have spotted imperial walkers !"
;D
What I heard was Sheldon Cooper screaming because, not only did you open the boxes for those, you have them in the snow! :)
After the day I had so far today at work (day's not over yet), I needed a good giggle.
Thanks for being awesome! .(^_^)b
That gave me a good laugh and memories of my old Star Wars toys.

Lol, the Blimp was fun, but I think I miss the Technodrome a little more. That thing was awesome.
I miss my tauntaun now...
I gave it to my younger brother when we were kids and he mangled it. :gonk:
I was reminiscing about this:
http://space1970.blogspot.com/2013/01/fifth-coolest-toy-ever-milton-bradleys.html
I had to, HAD TO, have one of these. I got it too. And... now.. I really wish I had it. :( By today's standards... It's still a damn cool toy. :D
Haha, you guys all rock!
I knew you'd appreciate this and I'm glad some got a much needed smile from it (and some great trips down memory lane).
One of my friends yelled at me for devaluing them in the snow... I think he was kidding, but c'mon!
Toys are made to be played with! :P 8) :P
Besides, their value only went up from being in this picture... LOL.
Houtex, that looks like it was an awesome toy!
I had to hear the sounds:
Commercial:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORtzJ3gZ5ho
Someone showing it off:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7H2L3c--xA
Hahaha... I don't know about those custom jobs, Triplash, lol... Although the AT Team and the Heman CAT ATAT made me laugh.\
And, a little more back on track:
It's hard for my brother and I to not say "Wampa, wampa, wampa" whenever we refer to the wampa....
Due to this commercial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_dYL2aJf2TU
LOL... although, this one is a little hilariously deranged too:

That has got to be the sweetest gamer-fan photo I have seen in a long, LONG time! You ROCK!!!!! Most of my special friends (to use your term) are tin-lead figurine miniatures I painted back in 1974-78 stored along with other treasures in my parents' basement (Yay Mom and Dad!!) And then I got busy and either the sun or moon went nova, or both. Thank you again for your photo reminding me of the Inner Child and simple pleasures. :)
Dear god I'm a nerd!!
Looking at that picture, all I can think of is "but they didn't use AT-STs (Chewie's two-footed walker) on Hoth".
But, obnoxious nitpicking aside, I'm glad you're having fun!

Indeed, I almost went into a nerd-rage when you said "they didn't use AT-STs", Lucretia, but... I calmed myself down. Now if you pulled out "Hey, you remember in Star Trek when on Spaceball One, Captain Malcom Reynolds told Apollo 'May the Force be With You' before sending him down to get a Beryllium Sphere? Awesome moment, right!?!"
Yeah. We'd have to have a little chat, you and all us'ns.

I forgot to mention earlier, Triplash, that these were Fall Over Laughing funny! My fave of course was the Mystery Machine (shades of Scooby-Doo!)

... damn, my memory sucks.
Well, in my defense, I've pretty much avoided watching any "special editions", which means that, since my VCR broke several years ago, I haven't seen the original trilogy.
As a desperate attempt to save my nerdity, well, at least I know that Chewie didn't drive an AT-ST on Hoth....

Best. Episode. EVER! :D

Is
that how that episode ended?! Thanks!!!! I'd seen only Part One, the end of season cliff-hanger, where Majel Barrett as Lwaxanna Troi had taken over both the Borg and the Daleks and then the family moved to a distant country and I never got to find out how that story ended. Thanks!!!! :)
We. Are. Awesome. Chuck, what's the tally?
In order:
Star Trek
Spaceballs
Firefly
Battlestar Galactica
Star Wars

It does if your G.I. Joe not only has the Kung-Fu Grip ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxbW_BY4X80 ) but also has the suoer-secret Sankrit
mandala attachment for Hindu
yantras and
sadhanas--in other words, yeah, any rockets firing off would launch only into Inner Space and probably could be seen only by focusing the Third Eye (not blind), and yet if you saw that, well, the fireworks might likely be splendiferous. But it's a lot of time and maybe some money, so I dunno, you might be better off investing elsewhere. ;)
Well, JR...you must be taking about the GI Jogindra action figure *stifles giggles*

That's the one! And to help even the odds Arthur Dent and Johnny Rico distracted her chief of security, Desolation Williams, by hotwiring a Starfighter and leading him on a wild goose chase to the planet Melmac.
Man, that was one action-packed episode. Hard to believe it was only a half hour show.
It got really weird when on Melmac, Alf saw the same cat twice. Morpheus recognized it as a glitch in the Matrix. But it was too late, the Recognizers were already on top of them, so they had to hop into the Time Machine to escape the evil clutches of Sador.
When they arrived at the new time, they found the place they'd come to was infested with Space Herpes, and if it weren't for the amazingly timed help of Ug, they would have never managed to escape. A feast was made to celebrate, but unwittingly, they all ingested the Stuff before they knew what would happen to them.
Thankfully, one of the troupe really liked the yodeling of Slim Whitman, which rendered the Stuff inert... except in Arthur... who inexcplicably unleashed a screeching howl and started to become... something... horrid.. a Thing, if you will... whereupon the most hated words to ever grace any screen suddently appeared...
To Be Continued!
