Title: D23
Post by: NoName on February 19, 2013, 09:39:57 PM
Will anyone be attending one of these? Might be a good place to make more friendly overtures about how much it would mean to us if Disney would pick up CoH.

If the Disney team keeps getting the same message in each city they visit, it would be hard to ignore and at some point you would hope they would ask someone higher up for a response or a comment about it.

Also this nugget:

UPDATE: To allow our members to attend the 2013 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, we are changing the Phoenix Fanniversary event date to March 6 at 2 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre.

Note you need to be a D23 member to get priority entry - membership is either $35 or $75 for one year - on top of the ticket price of the event.

I did a test run of the order form for a couple of cities. If you just put your last name and select non-member, it will let you buy tickets for 35 dollars.

Yes, but D23 members get priority entry. (My cousin-in-law went to a fanniversary party a few years ago as a non-member - they had to wait for the D23 folks to go first)

Well as long as they aren't turning those who bought tickets away it should be cool at least.

Yeah kind of was more for people who knew about this and are going but maybe we can have little COH unity events in cities where groups of people are thinking of going.

So many talented and creative people here, would be a good way to not only ask Disney what the status is but to inform other Disney lovers of the restoration attempt.
