Anyone know a safe relaible converter? I found a bunch and want opinions on which one I can trust. Going to convert some files to iTunes.

I use KeepVid.com personally - have never had a problem there.

You could also just use VLC : http://www.videolan.org/

the open-source player has a convert/transcode option that allows the input to be a network stream (just input your youtube address, and output is mp3, ogg or any other format video / audio etc..)

If you have already download the flv's formatfactory is an amazing convertor. Freeware (though untick any toolbars) and converts most formats of sounds, video to almost any other format.
