I'm hoping to add a background image to the pages of my Halls of Heroes (http://r0k.us/rock/games/CoH/HallsOfHeroes/) site. What would be nice thematically is an iconic page or panel from the City of Heroes comic book. I'd be most especially interested in something that had been pencilled and inked, but not colored. I've thought about scanning something myself, but there would be two problems:

1) no rights to use
2) I'm not sure I could remove the color leaving a clean inked version.

So I'm hoping something has already been released to the fans. Anyone know of any released artwork?

Thanks for the link, X. David has some nice stuff, but I didn't see the kind of inked-only panel or page I'm looking for. Did I miss something?

A lot of his CoH concept and comic cover artwork is here (http://www.davidnakayama.com/index.php) as well. The only uncolored piece he had was a very rough set of concept poses for Mother Mayhem.

This site (http://www.comicvine.com/city-of-heroes/49-19266/) has some artist info about who did what for the Top Cow comics and a little bit of light digging will lead you to some artwork from the comics. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any black and white linework-only stuff :-\

I know former NHL hockey player Rick Zombo did a promotional comic put out by Dark Horse Comics. Brandon McKinney did the art for the Blue King run of comics.

Thanks, guys. Peacemaker, wow he has lots of inked, uncolored pages. :)

Now I just need to decide if I want to pursue using one of them. Since my first post, I found a background tile which I modified in the way I would do the inked artwork (low contrast, two colors which fit my scheme). I like it, but I like the concept of finding the right panel or page, too. What do you guys think?
