Title: Mack the Knife
Post by: Lily Barclay on December 05, 2012, 06:32:19 AM
I've been a little reluctant to share my CoH vids as they are way more amateur than a lot of the work that comes out of this community, but I figured this is a quiet part of the forums, so why not? I took a video production class this term, and one of the assignments was to make a music video. News of the closure had just hit, and I asked if I could use game footage to make the video, and was told I could. I've always loved the CoH Bomp Bomp video, and have wanted to do something similar since I saw it, so it was kind of a bucket list item for me. Here is the final product. I used fraps and windows movie maker. I love me some Bobby Darin and some red side.

100% =D I'm glad it made people smile. So many people made poignant ones that I loved, but I wanted to make something light hearted. And St. Martial is my favorite zone. Also, the first time I stumbled across the family in the cement bucket in game (I think I was badge hunting), I thought it was so very cool. So when I made this, it was kind of my tribute to the game, but it was shortly after the announcement, and I wasn't quite ready to cry yet.
