For anyone who participated in the Tanker Tuesday events they will, in a fashion, continue.
There is a plan to continue having "Tanker Tuesdays" in Champions Online. There's also a TankHQ SG, and a TankHG global channel created in CO. @Hyperstrike is on quite often, and my Global in CO is @KoOni. I'll add Warboss' global to this list, once I have it.
There is also a Steam Group: Tanker Tuesdays, and there's a website http://tankertuesday.com/ that should continue to have information about upcoming events.
I need to make a "tanker" in CO. right now I have a Marksman.
It was a nice turn out for the first TT on Champion. Had 20+ folks. Lots of the usual TT regulars and a few others. Not sure if they'll be running them weekly, but everyone's welcome to join in.
Might have to stop in one of these! ... On my actual tank, or on my Melee that is based off of my old CoH tank? :@
I could swing by CO for some Tanker Tuesday action. Any preferred free-only class? (Haven't decided that I like CO enough to spend money on it.)
Okay. Currently "Tanker" Tuesday in CO isn't being relegated just to "tank-type" toons.
We're accommodating F2P players who don't have space for an appropriate tank-type toon at the moment.
Also, due to the way the game plays, you have multiple classes that are capable of tanking.
So, at least for the foreseeable future, TT is basically open to all.
As Kurt Kablam put it. Come, as you are...
I rolled a "Brick" anyways. Recreated my main tanker.
They need proper ram horns though.
I'm sorry I missed the first tanker tuesday. I will be there for 2013.

I find this Kurt Kablam's ideas intriguing, and wish to subscribe to his newsletter.

Rule #1: DON'T MARRY COURTNEY LOVE!
Rule #2: If you've ignored Rule #1, BLOW YOUR BRAINS OUT WITH A SHOTGUN!
???
Did someone say something about teen SPIRIT?!
hmmm, maybe not...
Aaaaaaanyways. I haven't had that much fun in CO in a long time. My team made it through Whiteout parts 1 & 2 on elite, but got stuck on part 3. I'm not sure if we failed, or it was a bug, but the timers for the NPCs didn't count down, and we ended up with an endless stream of enemies attacking us in bunches. It actually reminded me of some of the huge battles we used to have in CoH with all the mobs.
It was about time to call it a night anyways, so we quit, but I'm gonna try to resume with parts 3-5 next time.
I proposed this at the meet, but I'd like to add it here. I think it would be a good idea to ask if anybody has any group content saved up like Lairs, or tough missions first, so that teams can be formed to complete them since teams can be hard to come by in CO.
Anyways, please excuse our mess as we try to hammer out the new protocols for Tanker Tuesday in a new game, but as before, do not hesitate to ask questions about Tanking in CO, or any other CO questions since many people may be new to the game. We'll do our best to answer them.

I might join you guys for this. I have plenty of characters, and they're all free form, so I can just put anything in guardian role to qualify... Right?
This sounds fun i'm into it I'm @jetfire99 hit me up friend if you like.
