Hi,
I have a video in mind that I want to create and am racing to create demorecords before the end since it's a lot easier to create stuff in-game with Leandro's amazing script from
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkjyM8LIQdk
Here are a few questions I have starting out:
1. Where's the home of the video / demorecord community for sharing tips or archiving demos?
2. I'd like to be able to add a chest or cape symbol to use in creating some costume characters in AE that I'll use in my demos. I know someone found a way to overwrite the billboards with save CoH messages. Does anyone know how to overwrite a certain chest symbol?
3. In a lot of the videos, people have done really great smooth camera changes -- much smoother than I could do with my mouse. For example, this is an amazing 360 pan in 'Memories': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hWfkHa4cBI#t=6m25s Anyone have tips for doing that? Would he have captured the camera motion using Hover in a demo or edited a demorecord file?
Thanks!

there's an archive of pointers to videos at

I'm hoping to see some renewed interest in demos and demo editing come next month, since it's a quick and easy way to re-experience the game. I've been recording like a fiend for the past 3 months, shooting as many iTrials and new missions as I could, as well as unique maps, alignment missions, morality missions, zone flybys, one hour demos of cars and NPCs flowing by--just a ton of stuff. It'd be nice to update some of the resources so people can play with these things once we have too much time on our hands. I'll do what I can to help.
The video seems to have been pulled. What were the instructions in there?

Leandro removed them.
Apparently they were for something which I forget, but that he pulled because of it.
Some uber hard scripts or such.
Nevermind, I read his explanation - the scripts apparently only work while recording (which is no longer possible).
